Here in NorCal we never got that many in the entire region, and our clearance is only 30%. Hard to make money at that amount but great snag for you!!

Ahhhh the classic b&n hunt in the lego aisle because they never mark there stuff....

I usually sit there with the tracker on my phone and hunt and peck. Also, learned to look behind and around everything because the shelves look like a tornado came through

Well Walmarts tracker always being off worked in my favor for once.  Snagged 3 Heartlake Hospitals for $74 that was showing OOS.

 

Found someone. They had the destiny's bounty. Was hoping for clearance. No go. Boxes for pickup were not in good shape but got a Minnie mouse. Clerk wouldn't give or sell the Harry Potter figs either. 

How often does target remark their clearance? When will be the next time they would take 30% down to 50%?

Well our Target doesn't even carry Technic nor Architecture so chances of ever seeing that are zero☹️

Most stores mark down toys on Thursdays. Typically it's every 2 weeks for additional markdowns, but that can vary. The "notches" for Target are 15, 30, 50, and 70. Sometimes they skip a notch, sometimes they don't move at all. It varies by store. In general, you need to wait for whoever is doing price adjustments in stores on Thursday late AM/early afternoon to scan one of the items into the system. 

 

Did my part and cleaned out Elves At 50% or greater. Hope there’s no regrets.

That is SO INSANE.

72 of those, guaranteed cash money, about to retire, and you got it 50% off of an already 20% sale price. And then 5% red card (I hope).

Let's say they conservatively move from 40 retail to 70 as they dry up, probably less than a year for all the B&N to dry up.

You're basically picking up 50 dollar bills every time you ship one. $3600 profit in one find.

Probably one of the greatest retail hauls I've seen on here. 

Better than the great Yellow Submarine heist from Target? Maybe.

He was pointing out how ridiculous it is for a store 900 miles away from Chicago to stock a half gross of Chicagos, not that he traveled that far to clean them out.

maybe - too early to say but there's no price to that giddy giggly rush you get when the incredible 5 year old inside of you comes out grabbing these by the handful and literally shelf swiping 6 at a time in to your other arm .  there was an entire endcap of these .  5 shelves.  i couldnt' even take them all there were like 16 left.

as i'm grabbing sets  and giggling outloud to myself,  a nearby weathered wizened clearance hag & her future hag daughter at the next endcap over are becoming curious about what could they have possibly missed that i am throwing these down fast and furious  like they are kilos from pablo.   "what are u - an amazon seller or something?"  - why yes - yes i am - what was the tip off?"  lol.
