Funny it's the opposite around here.  Not sure if I've ever seen anything over 30% at Target but Walmart will often hit 60-70% on clearance sets.

Here there are 10+ of these just sitting, with the Architecture sets, in an area normally reserved for electronics.

I’ll be checking the tracker tonight before heading out for any disappointment on decent clearance finds. LY was 1st week in January for great Target deals here.

Problem is Shopko's prices are already about 20% more then normal.

Shopko will be going the way of KMart, Sears, and TRU soon. They just closed 39 stores in the Midwest a couple of weeks ago. I work for Pepsi and we have been told to stop delivering because they haven’t been paying their bills. Once in awhile the stars and planets align where clearance sales overlap with coupons and/or senior day. When that happens you can make some great hauls, but otherwise it’s not worth the trouble. Much better deals can be found elsewhere.

Agree.  That wasn't the case too far in the past when they actually had sets at MSRP or lower, with the occasional clearance score, but they've jacked them up and the stores are pretty much neglected as far as upkeep goes.  Adapt or get left behind.

Thank you.  Found a couple Brickheadz I didn't have yet for 50% off.  I'll take 'em.  Just wish stock was more accurate; nothing like "Available for Pick Up at your local store" and then "Sorry, that item isn't available for pickup" when you check out.

Meijer is typical. 50% off xmas section, but you have to argue polybags (only 20% off).  Shelves were wiped, so I couldn't check any on the clearance sets.  These were not new clearance sets; just the few that have been marked 20% or so off the past few weeks.

They always do that day after Christmas  

All technic were on clearance at my Target except for rally car and Volvo. All Elves sets were on clearance as well.

42063 I got them to price match BN for 50% off... they had it marked for clearance at $40.58

And I finally broke down and got a Red Card haha, but for some reason the red card gave me almost a 10% discount instead of 5%

The B&N sale is interesting - SOME of the stuff that was 50% off before is on clearance, some is not. Some of the stuff that was BOGO 50% off is on clearance, some is not. The LEGO Batman Movie sale (30% off) ended, SOME of that stuff is clearance, some is not. Very inconsistent.
