I put stock in the very low probability of a remake. I just don't see this ever coming back once its done....and its just quirky enough that SW fans may give it some staying power. Not going deep on these but I think five or six is a safe hedge. Also 16.XX.....thought it was 20 with the cartwheel?

I priced my last Indominus at 430$ thinking no one was going to buy it. I guess I underestimated the power of Christmas.

December 21, 20186 yr Many think brick bank will at least double? Just sold a GE for $280 locally and that is barely double for a 4 yr hold. Sad!

This may be a somewhat simplistic view on things, but I think GE was the first modular people started buying after the last big wave of "LEGO is better than gold" articles and such. I think it was a bit overhoarded - and since then, modulars and the big sets have performed weaker than the ones prior. Brick Bank, if nothing else - seems to at least be less hoarded. Also, GE was out for apx 4.5 years as opposed to 2.5 for the BB. This all may mean absolutely nothing, but if you're looking for reasons to be optimistic.

December 21, 20186 yr Brick bank was double this morning on amz. All this stock today dropped 3rd party price below 300. Likely most of todays stock went to resellers. Maybe lego brings it back after the demand today, who knows....
December 21, 20186 yr Well this was fun.Went to local B&N tonight and asked if they would stack HP 4-pack with the BOGO, and they agreed. But warned they wouldn’t accept a return without the 4-pack haha.So I grab (2) London’s, (1) Arc De Triomphe, and (1) Vegas ... all at $39.99Rep rings the 4 up and sure enough once he scans HP figure it replaced one the sets, but he noticed and called a manager over to fix it.Idk what this manager did, but price dropped back down and I paid and headed home. Checked my receipt later and they messed up and gave me 3 of the 4 at 50% off [emoji51]Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

I guess I underestimated the power of Christmas. It always boggles my mind the prices some people will pay for a $130 RRP set. My guess is late 20s/30s AFOLs getting back into the hobby (similar to myself from a year ago) and realizing how much cool stuff they missed out on the past 15 years. No way is Little Timmy's mom gonna pony up $430 for that.

You’d be surprised how many parents don’t think twice about dropping hundreds on what Timmy wants! Silly but true and sorry I’m sure this discussion doesn’t belong In daily deals ? Depending on your buy in, for many people here it’s more than doubled. Brick Bank is also the only corner modular until they introduce the garage. Still, being one of two corner modulars is extremely rare on top of whatever shortage and aesthetic appeal. In short, if it’s RRP or lower, buy it like you’re picking up gold from the streets. Though, personally, I’d put OFS as having more long term persistent growth AND demand than BB. If BB is gold, OFS is diamond.
December 21, 20186 yr Agreed with you, it is all about the buy in. If you can get it for half price, and end up selling it at retail price a year down the road, if your customer bothers to look up the retail price, they will very often believe they got an excellent deal, getting an out of print set at near retail price. That same customer may balk if you paid retail, and try to sell to them for twice retail. 1/3 of the modulars have been corner buildings. I don't believe being a corner, is a reason people purchase it. Your lucky, our Target never has anything on Clearance for more then 20-30%.
