The point of a store is to sell items so why the cancellations?  What is the rationale for the cancellations from the store's perpective?

I ordered 12 last night and haven't heard anything yet. Fingers crossed.

Maybe I’ve just been lucky but I have three Walmart accounts that alternate between using and I’ve had pretty good success rate.  My 3rd BF 900piece order of 10 was cancelled but everything else has been fine, including the UCS falcon from the other day.

Very interesting. At my local Wally a price check on 75203 doesn’t even show in store but I’m looking at 5. Back up to $29.97. Happening as well with other in-store sets. Just and FYI to not take Wally’s online stock as absolute.

The point of the store is to be profitable, not sell stuff.  Stores will ultimately make more money from 12 satisfied customers (who will return and presumably purchase lots of other higher margin items) than from 1 reseller (who will mercilessly plunder low margin sales and clearance and perhaps purchase a few other higher margin items).

True.  Yet after the new year, the cancellations will stop and Walmart will welcome resellers with open arms so they can unload old inventory.  No way to treat a friend.  LOL

When I order multiple large sets I do separate orders with staggered delivery times. Too many times they'd tossed two giant sets in one box and they beat each other to hell.

i get it, but you lost your bogo50% on the HP minifigure set. i guess it doesnt matter if you only bought brickheadz as you can sell the hp minifigure set for more than you lost.
