I can't imagine going to a mall a week before Christmas, fighting some crazy grandma for a parking spot, and waiting in a long line to spend $75 to get a free box of rejects But I have most of those minifigs in stock, except for Deejay (due to principle) so I am biased

I'll throw away the minifigs.
December 17, 20187 yr Never would have thought it would be too hard to find $75 worth of star wars sets. The theme has really declined.

December 17, 20187 yr is the Ninjago mech on the single wheel at $50 (Target) a good price? saw it on Slickdeals so expected to be soldout but it wasn't so pounced on it...but now buyer's remorse kicking in... 1: it's a mech 2: it's a medium large set 3: a different take on a mech but also ningajo rehash

Price point, per piece, is great. Amazon and eBay pricing is good. It’s a single, large, standalone piece, which in my opinion has higher value than a set with multiple structural pieces. You wont lose money. Long term investment potential, in my opinion, is quite high.

Aside from the Uwing in Rouge One, I haven’t found any of the new ships / sets / minifigures that great. The movies aren’t giving LEGO much new stuff to work with. Even their new kids cartoon, Star Wars Resistance, doesn’t have any standout ships, and part of the story is about racing, so you’d think they’d have something.
