I'm not sure as I normally obtain mine by buying train sets at big discounts and then parting out, meaning that they cost nothing. That's what I used for my Holiday Train.

    It was lower this summer when Walmart was doing some store clearances.  I picked up a couple for $19.

    Consider your selling platform. Going for $84 on Amazon. Ebay selling in the mid 50s according to items sold.

    You have to look at the store's in your area though.  We have 8 Walmarts within 50 miles of us yet rarely to good deals come around or last.  You see people clearing out stores of the #10704's for $20 or less with hundreds on hand, only 2 of the stores around us even have those sets and only 4 o/h at that.

    This is true on 10704 - that sold out everywhere in my area so we never saw $12 or $7.  I would think with that many Wallys you would see aggressive pricing to compete.

    You would think, but people around here are vultures.  They see something marked down 10% and clear it out.

    No, for some reason even referral codes even seem to be hit or miss on that site.  What is good on their today?  Most seem to be normal prices for them.
