I've been avoiding most newSW sets like the plague - ep 8 sets especially - but thoughts on 75189 heavy assault walker for 40% off?

Local kmart is closing and this is the only set left on the shelves. 3 boxes in suprisingly great shape.

Made another back order Holiday Train purchase along with a small item this morning. Carousel was added and says In Warehouse so in my mind I like to think I got the very last one in the universe.

I think your best bet was to grab some during the TRU closing sales. I was able to find a few at 30% off.

This is the dud of the Last Jedi sets because it was cut from the film. It only exists in preproduction art books but never made it into the actual film.

You may have. I was about to order something and it added to cart. Changed the order and then it didn’t add to the cart anymore.  Chatted with customer service and they said the Christmas Carousel is gone but they gave me 300 bonus points on my account. That’s something, I guess.

B&N 50% off advents. Good or bad idea to invest? 50% is ok but might be hard to get them any cheaper.

Which will net more in the long run? $200 worth of discounted advents or a Ferris wheel!?[emoji848]

I might be navigating the site wrong or maybe they poofed that fast, but it seems to show them at $14.99, but then you can only get them in the "marketplace" where it's $49.96.

BN is a disaster.  Their inventory management of lego and everything else is a complete nightmare....unless you can get it in store, dont even bother interacting with them.

I would think a Ferris because if you have to part it out it’s going for nearly $300. No way you wanna ship that as a complete set. Although Advent is parting out at $63.64.

I personally think all star wars walkers will be popular...

Recently when I jumped back into LEGOs after 35 year hiatus...all I could think about was getting me some AT-ATs and AT-STs...and I think I represent a large market (Prior Lego fan Dads buying sets for kids)

they gave me 500 pts plus nutcracker when they could not retroactively give me the Diagon Alley (I purchased 2 weeks before promo)...I had to make a bit of a stink tho'

Other than the Head looking like a gorillar smoking a blunt...I would totally get this set as a collector of ANYTHING SW and Walker...same line as the White Falcon

Kylo Ren's Shuttle appeared in "The Force Awakens" first and we saw the wings in all it's formations.

That white Falcon is hideous and my friends told me that they have trouble keeping those assault Walkers from falling over. Which is why the store displays always have a stand underneath them.

Amen to this.  I've ordered the discounted Batman Movie sets from them on 4 occasions in the past month, each time I get an email saying they are delayed followed by an email saying they are delayed.  The only salvation is they still send the promo gift (Kessel Mine worker or Harry Potter bricktober set).

I'm still waiting for a sale on the Kessel Falcon 75212, it's been stuck at $170 MSRP since it was introduced, so someone must like it.  Maybe Walmart discounted them but I never have luck with Walmart clearance in my area.

And my 75189 Assault Walker has stood on my desk for months without falling over.  Maybe I built it wrong.  I did bend the legs so it looks like it's walking (not straight legged).
