I had a few other items that I needed to order, so I'm hoping they will box them all up together.

Nothing really. Others here have reported it came in a standard LEGO shipping carton and sometimes also that plus a standard Amazon box.

What it is supposed to mean is that you get an item (like batteries or a cable or such) in an easy to open box rather than an annoying plastic clamshell package.
