I can't be 100% certain that still works, but I also placed a Great Hall backorder but added a few small items and those and promos are currently "in warehouse" status.

They don't release the cash back until you are out of the return period taking 90 days or more! And they reserve the right to cancel any cash back rewards if the purchase is deemed for resell purpose. Seems like they have plenty of ways to deny you the rewards....Tread cautiously......
