Target $10 gift card when you buy $50 worth of Lego. One combo I've been using is...

75932 Newt's Case of Magical Creatures (on sale at $39.99) x1

41615 Harry Potter & Hedwig (on sale at $11.99) x1

Total comes to $51.98 ($49.38 after red card, which equates to 24% off).

If you factor the $10 gift card into your cost then the total is $39.38, or 39% off. I personally don't factor gift cards into my cost at the time of purchase, so I will be applying mine to City Hospitals in the future.

Nice little deal on some good sets from a good theme.

target's match is a bit off the chart. in theory, $49.38 oop should not qualify for the $10 as it actually doesn't hit that $50 threshold, but it's added to your cart anyway. I was buying something in the same neighborhood of your number and saw the gc shown up.

The gift card deal is based on the total before red card, which is $51.xx in this scenario. Not everyone pays with red card, so it would be silly for Target to deny the gift card deal to those that do.

just surprised Target did not use the actually payment amount to gate the distribution of the gift card. silly math but I am not going to complain

This is just a clearance price, the worker just put a shelf price tag instead of the red clearance shelf tag and the price sticker on the box.

This ordering thingy one at a time for the gift card slowing me down.

I feel like target can't offer these types of promo's anymore without restrictions. They are very abusable and problematic for target as a corporation.
