never buy stuff like this in store, order online and pickup is much more efficient.  walmart is really pushing instore pickup so most stores are getting much better at pickup.

Yes, they are heavy. I bought mine in store, it was a long time back though. I would just have them delivered to my doorstep, much easier that way. Once again, it's just my personal preference.

Bought a Death Star a while back, it came in lego brand cardboard shipping box. LEGO box was in good condition
