No, you pay the online price (so no member discount) and then pick up in store. Since they still don't check ID, this has gotten more risky, because someone could just walk up and request your stuff as they see the names on the orders. In the past they would still need to pay for your stuff, so it was a minor inconvenience. Now it is a much bigger issue. At least in my store this is a huge risk. My nicely printed pickup slip got completely ignored, even though they are supposed to scan the barcode and check my ID. Went completely by name only .....

Couple of interesting sales at www.primenow.com (Amazon Prime). Especially 70751 Temple of Airjitzu (going for $350 on regular Amazon right now). If you have selected slower shipping speed at Amazon and received $5 PrimeNow credit coupons, this might be a good way to use them to offset the expected tip for the driver. You cannot stack those coupons unfortunately ....

Inventory for Prime Now is dependent on your area, FWIW. I don't have the Temple of Airjitzu in my area, but I do have some other discontinued sets like 60104 Airport Terminal, 41101 Heartlake Grand Hotel, and 60130 Police Prison Island. It's a neat resource for sure.

Am I wrong in thinking that you have to also win the auction during the promotional period to get the bonus eBay Bucks, not just pay for the auction during the promotional period? 

That is the way I understood it, too. The promotion is to get people to buy, not reward those who wait to pay for what they already bought.
