Nightmare in terms of cost? Not really - total for 3 comes out to about $264 including shipping - so $88 for each as reported by @Bold-Arrow

Nightmare in terms of duration? Takes about 2-3 weeks .. a bunch of us recently got Mercedes Benz AROCS from Amazon.de and they take a while to ship (they get shipped from the UK btw).

Nightmare in terms of packaging/state of product when it arrives? Check the order status thread regarding the AROCS - most of us got beaten up shipping boxes but relatively mint AROCS boxes inside of them. Mine actually survived really well, hardly any difference from a normal inside US delivery. Of course YMMV.

Net ... given the strength of the USD right now, you have no reason not to jump on this if you think the price is right.

Note that this is a targeted promo, and you need to activate it. It does not apply to everyone. My promo is also valid until 3/25 11:59PM PT.

I have the same promo as you and the 8% was applied to the GC i bought yesterday. For some reason its not showing the same ebay bucks reward.

There is a limit of $200 bucks max per member.  So if this is your 30th TRU gc order you are out of luck

 

the 8% ebay promotion said not applicable for items in the gift card category. My gift card purchase also showed a discount at time of purchase, but whether ebay honors it, who knows.

Just eBay branded gift cards are excluded.  All other gift cards listed in the Gift Cards & Coupons category should earn the 8% eBay bucks if you are eligible for the promotion.

It will show the ebay bucks that you will get for tru gift cards.  If you look at an ebay gift card you will not see the same thing.

Discounted GC + eBay bucks + TRUTH is a killer combo.

After multiple giftcard inceptions, my last TRU cards from ebay were bought at a 35% discount. Target and ebay might be colluding to bring TRU down, or it can all be in my head...
