The new minifigures series is available. 

I refuse to to take part in a lego construction set that part of the set is a cardboard part or display.  Don't think its a McDonald's happy meal.  How cheap can they get to manipulate money out of peoples pockets.

Not only were those recently on clearance at WalMart for $2.50-$5, they can be purchased on eBay most anytime for less than the $7.99.
