Not a deal, but I was in Best Buy the other day and they had a small selection of Lego in the gaming section. Mostly themes that correspond with what they carry, Minecraft, Brickheadz, Star Wars, Marvel but something to be aware of when discounts arrive.

I've started selling a bit more on ebay lately and all of a sudden I started getting ebay buck offers like mentioned above.  I've been on ebay since 2002.  I only started getting ebay buck offers in the last month or two.

I've been buying and selling for 15 years. Selling fairly heavy over last 5. I've never received an ebay bucks offer.

I've been on ebay buying and selling for 13 years and never gotten an offer.

I think that may be it. I've done a lot of buying on eBay recently and I was getting all the offers last year. This year, they just stopped. Must have hit a threshold where they figured they didn't need to entice me anymore.

Are they gift cards or merchandise return gift cards?  If merch return, is your name associated with them?

You only have until April 15, so you better find something.  If they are merch returns, and your name isn't associated to them, better return them ASAP.

speed champions are a good bet at the moment. likely to be some time before they hit any other stores if ever. if your a betting man go for the latest ones, else focus on those close to retirement.

That's what I did. Spent $300 GC on 2 Saturn V's and some Speed Champions.

I was actually wondering about Speed Champions. Since some of the sets were exclusive to Toys R Us, what stores are gonna carry them now? Are the existing sets that are retired going to be worth even more now?

If memory serves, I think I read here that someone heard from a LEGO store employee that some would be landing there.  And I heard at my LEGO store that they were suddenly carrying more SC, but no mention of a TRU connection.  Maybe I'm day-dreaming but it would be nice to see some other TRU exclusives pop up at the LEGO store like Heavy Haul Train and the big Fire Engine, hopefully in quantities that put them into a clearance price scenario

Correct.  There were a few exceptions that were temporary situations like TLBM Penguin Arctic Roller and Dr Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum that were not stocked for their 1st few months because of a new policy, which was later abandoned.

most stores would not have all the retailer exclusives in stock, particularly the older ones.  just limited shelf space. but now I believe they are prioritizing the TRU exclusives more, and should have more in all stores.

Since 2014 when I came out of my dark ages my store has had every exclusive available, except for the 2 mentioned above.
