My 0.02- I always buy one for sure and then wait for better deal for reat.

Unclear from the email, but if you didn't get an email it would appear to be the earned one.  Title of the email "Your code has arrived! Extra 5% off sitewide"

Raise made it seem like if you purchased GC's in December you'd be a special snowflake and get a code in January. They lied. It's generic and everyone can use it. Now I don't feel special. Boo Hoo.
