TARGET 12/26/17 SALE

FWIW... I saw prices drop on a lot of sets, and confirmed prices from a second, more reliable source.  The word is that the 12/26 pricing database was released a few days early.  Corporate sent a memo on this that there were to be no further toy markdowns before 12\26.  Manual prices changes will take place overnight so they're ready for 12/26 opening.  So, be on the watch if you want to pick a certain store/sets to stalk on 12/26.  And per Target policy since its a clearance sale you can't buy it now and get a price adjustment on 12/26.

@FM when you say manual..you mean an employee will go an scan each item and adjust each price by store opening time? I lack faith in my local target employees to get this done by that time but I will be at a few stores early regardless. I had noticed the markdown on some items on the target inventory tracker but of course they were not adjusted yet. Thanks for clarifying.

Yes, I was told that employees have to mark down each item seperately.  Some of my stores will be ready to roll at opening, and most will not.  I haven't experiened it but there's some discussions on the site about this, along the lines of... If it's supposed to be marked down but hasn't been, go find a high-ranking employee with a "super" red pricing gun and they can mark them down for you.  Huge ymmv.

I have a stupid newbie question, apologies if it’s been answered elsewhere. I see that this post is titled Daily Deals - USA, but the pinned topic relates only to Amazon discounts. I’ve searched for Walmart deals and the page I find is empty. I also see that in the discussion on this thread there is mention of TRU, Target, Walmart, etc. so what I want to know is: is this where I should look tomorrow morning for clearance information for those big box stores? Or will it be posted on another thread(s)?
