Newbie question:  do the big box stores ( Walmart, Target, Shopko, Toys R Us) have good clearance sales right after Christmas? Basically, do I need to take next Tuesday off from work?

Yes, there will be clearance deals. Just pay attention here, you'll hear all about it. If you're serious about this game, then yea, take off the day. But there'll be lots of sales for a month afterwards. There's always something to buy. We usually know about it before the Walmart employees do.

"Every year for the last 4, my Walmarts have had massive sales on the day after Christmas. I usually just pick up one of each that I want and head to TRU for price matching so I can              use gift cards."

Not specifically calling out the poster, but price matching clearance prices is against pretty much every store's rules, and I would strongly discourage you from trying it, as it's sketchy behavior - even if your store somehow does it.

Do Toys R Us promotions generally cycle on Thursday?  A somewhat-local TRU has Kylo's 75104 for $62.48 available for pick-up and I get paid tomorrow, so I'm weighing the risk of waiting until tomorrow morning to bite or if I need to tonight.  The $5 eGiftCard is a nice incentive also.

Last year Targets around me had oodles of Marvel Legends and Imaginext figures 70% off the day after Xmas. I don't recall any Lego deals, but I could be wrong.

Just curious if anyone knows if this is the in-store price as well?
My closest store has them available online for "pickup", but I'd rather save 10% with TRUTH than hope for a $5 e-gift card.

I know with my luck, I'll drive there and find it's $120+ in-store and wish I'd ordered online for pickup. Hindsight's always 20/20.

Well shoot, I should've known that. I mixed up with rewards being restricted, then reinstated I think(?). Thanks.

It was 62.50 at my store but couldn't pick up online. Luckily I checked brick mortar . In for 3.

Yes, per the "Back in stock" email that I just received.

"Thanks for signing up to be notified about the Millennium Falcon™ coming back into stock. We've just received a new shipment and the item is available online. If you wish to check in-store availability, please call your local store. Please note, express shipping option is not available for this set and these orders will not arrive before Christmas, but they will be eligible for the LEGO® Star Wars™ VIP Card."

FYI on the falcon;  if you’re not logged in, it shows out of stock.
