Amazon has been awful this year. Several items packed with too much paper stuffed on topped, causing crushing to sets. Also, what is with all the stickers now? Almost every set has had some type of sticker, either on the bottom or side. They have even sent me sets that appear to have been returned after someone horribly removed a sticker, peeling the packaging.

They sent me my two Friends Heartlake Riding sets in a plastic bag!

Both boxes demolished.....

Yeah I had a yellow sticker on mine, and where another sticker was removed, peeling the box a bit. The shipping box was also poorly packaged, collapsing a little on the sides, but the set itself only suffered really due to the sizeable gash on the top. I'm mostly just annoyed since I ordered a "new" set. I can understand shipping damages to an extent, though these Shopko and Kmart stories that just popped up are putting mine to shame.

A different set I ordered had no issue, though, and another was through Warehouse so it was already damaged (though it was properly packed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).

Mine have cut on the bottom and a yellow label on it. Luckly the other one is mint condition and he is on the way to his new sweet home

Both of my Holiday Trains arrived like this.  They were even shipped in separate boxes.

Me also. I was really steamed. Apparently Amazon brings hobos off the street during Christmas to fulfill orders.

Oh, thanks for reminding me. The friends one is also available, but I literally can only find on Google Express (sold by TRU...). Can't find direct link...

Beware, amazon sent two MF without outside box, both box slightly bented and hard to remove the shipping label. This has never happened before.

I have begun to mark all my amazon orders as gifts. This typically will get it shipped in a box.

Every set I get from Amazon is destroyed, cut slashed smashed worn edges stickers or the occasionall marker writing for no good reason. I give up unless a killer deal.

Might be the location from which they're shipping out?  I've only had an issue with less than a handful of sets out of a few hundred.  Hope this doesn't become the norm.

I’m in the Pac NW and had them shipped across the country. Goes without saying but inspect carefully. I got. PC on their hot deal weeks back, marked as gift, came in a nice box with a gift bag, I was amazed, then on the right side a clean box cutter blade all down the side and theough the seals. Obviously ymmv but its a crapshow and a hassle for me, just have to ask myself whether the deal is worth the hassle everytime now.

So here’s what I got at the Barnes and Noble madness since I didn’t see it get posted and after membership discount and a lot of searching. I saw a few other sets my store didn’t have ended up to be an odd mix of leftovers from the previous sales for the 50% plus as mentioned all Batman movie and Star Wars at 30%. I’m buying mostly for myself here.

I was able to find a store with Ninjago Destiny's Shadow,  City Dragster Transporter, and City Catamaran still in stock.  They are holding them for me today.

Yes! I had to wait until they restocked it to get an exchange. Hopefully the replacement is not damaged.

Must be some employees who doesn't know how to open boxes, then. When I worked at the LEGO store a couple years ago, you had to be careful when opening the shipping boxes with the cutter for this exact reason, since there is no padding between them and the actual sets. The fact that a lot of us are getting sets like this is mildly upsetting. I trust I'm not the only one to leave a poor packing review on the Amazon package feedback?
