Tell me about it!  I got banned last November.  I've been lying low for a year and just tried to order 5 of these Globes.  My crime?  They associated my eBay account with my VIP account.  I received the following:

A few things at tjmaxx/home goods. A few ninjago dragon forge at $50, also saw a salvage mech for I think $25, bunch of Star Wars buildable figures for $13, boxes of those little nexo shield packs that I never saw anyone buy, and about a dozen Sofia duplos. I know the Sofia castle sells for a good price, but I don’t know anything about this one. There was also an angry birds castle that was $50. I passed on all. 030f6612a381e888117eaa4c093b44bd.jpge71b4832c649c3cdbfa4692707df508b.jpg

Any idea if they are still limiting it to red card holders when purchased in store? Unable to order online for in-store pickup.

Has this set not sold well or something? I am surprised to see TRU blow these out so soon given that the set is still widely available at other retailers, and TRU has been known to clearance sets after they've been retired.

TRU is trying to make their sales numbers so they can pay their execs a nice bonus check before they ride off into the sunset.

They did the same with the big Technic sets last year.  though last year they included exclusives like the sandcrawler and fairground mixer, so they do not seem to be dumping as much this year.  It seems be a pattern now with bigger sets they dont stock at many stores.

Word of warning on this: my local LEGO store didn't receive the Gingerbread Men yet - said they will be on tomorrow's truck. Got my promotional card and receipt stapled together so they know to just give me one when I go in tomorrow.
