I hope interest grows after retirement. I was able to find a couple of these of clearance for $17 at Walmart in the summer, but I'm worried how long they have last at that price.

Most people got their fill at $30

Glad I stayed up till 2am PST last night, what a joke of sales now. Walmart and Amazon seriously dumping lots of junk sets that will never sell.

Yup, that ship has sailed since last night.

Walmart deals were better this morning since they weren't a limit of one. 

I want a $30 Scuttler.  My son doesn't want the set and I won't buy it for myself unless it's around that price.  Also bummed I missed the Airport.

I dunno man, $30 or $41 for an $80 set if you just want one for yourself seems a bit like splitting hairs I'd just pull the trigger.

from a flipping stand point, a lot of these deals are meaningless...a lot of overproduced sets that are going to take a long time to see growth.....

You guys are right but we've been buying way too many sets lately and I don't want to get another set that he doesn't want as much as me.  Trying to be a good dad. ?  lol, I thought the emo was a disgruntled smile.

In the US, is there any other way to get the Classic box Amazon has on sale (10703)?  They do list it as an exclusive - have there been other Lego sets exclusive to Amazon?

Just happened to be looking for it a couple of days ago.  Does not seem to exist anywhere else, not even on SaH, for US buyers.  All Brinklink sellers are outside of the US.

Fun bit of speculation here but if it is a true Amazon exclusive, will 30% off be the best discount we'll ever see?  And will its supply of currently rare colored windows and doors drive up after-market prices from modular MOC builders?  Is this the dark horse of the day?

The kicker here is that it IS an Amazon exclusive.  So, where do you sell them?  What do you tell AMZ when you send 50 in for FBA to sell next year or the next and Amazon says, "Hey, you know we don't allow people to re-sell stuff they purchase from Amazon on Amazon, right?  So, would you care to tell us where you bought these from"?
