So is there or isn't there double VIP today and this weekend? I thought there wasn't, but saw someone mention it here, and the store manager of my LEGO B&M store confirmed it earlier in the week as well. My cart at LEGO Shop at Home shows regular points ....

Dec 8-10 is next scheduled double vip points 

B&M deals were a joke this year......best deal hands down was the classic chess set for 30% off......the other "doorbuster" was the heartlake hotel for 20% according to the employee...rough year.  I was in the store for about 20 minutes and MAYBE 25 people came through and uttered a lot of the same....also saw a stack of cinemas about 20 deep....no falcons

Just walked into B&N with $8k of gift cards to take advantage of their LEGO BOGO 50% offer but guess what, Architecture doesn't qualify for that offer & they showed me this paper. Do by this logic Star Wars & other licenced sets qualify for this promo. In the past I've only seen this promo where pretty much architecture qualifies. This seems so backwards.

Like most lines, depends on the set.  Some sale gangbusters, some not so well.  I wished that I had a huge case of F14 T and Scuderia Ferrari Truck Sets.
