November 5, 20178 yr Target has a free hideous Christmas Tree (Creator 5004934) with qualifying $35 LEGO purchase. Looks like "Qualifying" means select sets from the girls themes (Friends, Elves, Disney Princess). https://www.target.com/pl/210342912#sortBy=bestselling&Nao=0 You can also purchase that hideous Christmas Tree on target.com or Target's eBay store. You mean "Free picture of a Christmas tree" set? That set is only the minifig and the presents, the tree is a print on the box. Talking about rip-off ....

The misleading part is the third or forth pic showing the fully built lego tree with rope lights as a model, not part of the box. I’d snag it in a second if you could build it.
November 5, 20178 yr Yes very misleading! I saw these at target a couple of weeks ago and almost bought some until I noticed that the box itself is part of the build.

November 6, 20178 yr 1 hour ago, Legbrick said: Do the Calanders really increase in value much though? A few years ago, when you could buy them in Oct/Nov for near 50% off (coupons, gc, points, etc). it was easy money to flip them in Dec for 1.5-2x RRP. But then LEGO caught on and started flooding the market, with additional runs hitting shelves in early Dec. Add in the fact that they will likely not sell over RRP after that first christmas, and there is little upside.
