One of two ways. The box itself with stickers on it or incased in the manufacturer lego box which is what you want..but ya can't always have what you want.

I've received 6 Apollo's from Amazon over the past few months as they trickle in stock. Every one  I've received was in the original manufacturer's box and that box was then put in an Amazon box. All arrived pristine except for one (UPS's fault).

 

But yeah, There are plenty of photos of Amazon sending the LEGO box with stickers all over it and that's all.

 

I suggest if you place an order always look for the option when checking out to "Ship in an Amazon Box". If you don't see the option you are rolling the dice.

Lol not sure what's upset you but I also specifically look for broken seal boxes for sets I want to personal build. I just have zero interest in this set.

I also don't like how Amazon sometimes likes you to foot the $6 return fee even when they claim it's free return shipping. And like many people have said, AWD tends to over-promise with their product condition.

Make sure you post with an update with pics so you can prove us all wrong.

I don't disagree. If it were a different retired set that I wanted with that much of a discount off market prices, I would do the same.

Just making a generalization about AWD and possible outlook for future worth of Sandcrawler set. There is a reason that it continues to be available.

We are in different Markets buddy, I can sell a Sandcrawler for $500 after fees... .easily as the last 3 I have sold in the past 8 weeks.

Only selling 3 of a Lego set in 8 weeks also says a lot about it's popularity.  

Well at this point I personally am not buying anything out there and refreshing on Toysrus constantly. If the news are accurate (which has been ongoing for months) then prepare to bring cash into the stores in the next few weeks and grab whatever you can.

It is not much, but I only have 10 of each retired sets , when I decide to sell , depending on the season , they probably all go on a Christmas season...  

And again , these are sold in Mexico, it takes a little bit more to go through expensive sets ...

They raised the price from $266 to $279+. Still 5 available...

Toysrus.com has many sets marked down 20% - 30% off, some off RRP and some off TRURP.  I hope these prices hold out for TRUTH.
