10% off in store on Thursdays if you use your TRU credit card (for at least partial payment). I usually put $1 on my card and pay the rest with gift cards.

Yeah, had to have them override.  One of those 20 min checkout experiences.

My son was one of the few who actually liked Ep II so the Starfighter was on his bday wishlist.  $100 was too rich but happy to get 4 @ 50% off after discounts & TRU magic.  Thanks @SageFly!

Glad you were able to get them to work the TRU magic.

I had 2 managers working with me at checkout and one wanted to find out what keys were needed to get the 10% discount to still work on a price adjusted item. If they selected Price Correction -> Other and then input the corrected TRU.com price, the 10% Thursday discount will still apply. If they select price match or price adjust, the 10% won't work. They thought it was great I had the system figured out to maximize savings. They also know me and how much I spend there, so they don't seem to mind giving me things that others might not get.

Awesome, thanks so much.  Been wanting the A-wing for some time but couldn't pull the trigger.  Was able to use my $5 reward (not to be used for LEGO construction sets) and ordered it on-line.  No problem with the rewards and it went through.  $25 I'll pay for the personal build.  Thanks!!

That's actually only about 25% off since TRU price is not actual RRP ($39.99).

75191 Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive is 30% off msrp at TRU, and hasnt been inflated to "TRU RRP" yet. (Though the set was overpriced by LEGO in my opinion.)

Man I thought the same thing. Totally overpriced, but that's a lot closer to what it should be.

I was able to get it down to $62.99 yesterday in-store via price adjustment and TRUTH.  Still rings up $99.99.

I'm tempted to bite on the Hyperdrive at 30.00 off.  That's about the price it should have been at RRP though.. so i'm still not considering that a "deal"... but it's better than paying 99.99 for it.
