The Louvre is 39.48.  if you pay with the Amazon store card you get 15% back as a statement credit instead of the 5%. It looks like it's a father's day promotion.  Not sure what other sets the 15% applies to.

i have a standard Prime Rewards Visa card and I'm seeing the bonus.  I just talked with their customer service. The Prime Store Card is different form the Prime Rewards Visa Card. However, they representative did give me a $5 promotional credit though for my time.

I just applied for the Prime Store card, got additional $40 gift card, and instantly could buy the sets and get the additional credit.  Oh well. I have great credit history so I'm good.

Nope, I have no Amazon store. I didn't make it before it was all gated off. This is strictly for consumer purchases.  This is a promotion for both Father's Day but also to get them to sign up more people. The Prime Store is a unique CC issued from Synchrony that ONLY allows you to use it on Amazon.com and NOT anywhere else.

You do not need a store to get it. I've had it a long time, but it's a different credit line than the Rewards Visa. It's just another credit line folks can apply for. It used to be the Store Card would give you 5% credit back vs the 3% for the Rewards Visa, now they are both 5%. Nothing special about it and anyone can apply, I think.

Store only cards are easier to get than Visa, etc.
but they hurt your credit score more when you first open them and are not as value adding to your overall score. Only worth considering if your about to make a big purchase and need to take a loan, like a house or car.

Do NOT apply for any new credit lines if your about to buy a house with a mortgage.  Thought everyone knew that.  Good way to lose the house.
