Toys R US Lego 75096 is reduced to $74.98 from retail price of $90...add in the 30% discount online of 30OFFLEGO which comes down around $54. It's pretty much a 40% off deal if anyone is interested.

Definitely. There seems to be a pattern that TLG offers some exclusive minifigures in big sets, after 1 year or 2, boom, they appear again in smaller sets. Good for them to sell the first wave of big sets. Bad for part-outers.

Or guys like me who collect figs and buy them at a premium

Or eventually people learn TLG's scheme and stop buying into that 'exclusive' wording with fine prints 'only for a year, will become available everywhere including minifighter series'...

Also the generic black hood that appears in Nexo Ultimate Laveria and many other sets. The set is ugly IMO and a weak build so probably will be a winner until they remake it again.

Yeah...  And it's a $70 (662 pcs.) set masquerading as a $90 set.  Realistically, you're getting this for $20 off, not $40.  Terrible price/piece ratios definitely hurt appreciation over MSRP.  On the bright side, you're ordering from TRU, so you'll probably receive something else instead.

30OFFLEGO expired 4/22 per my email. 15% starts 4/23 so they will not stack.
