True dat. Revan lasted for like 5 hours online. I wish that I had placed 50 orders on that glorious morning.

A very good point, but he did become widely available a second time 2 years later to replenish the supply.  And this is free with $75 purchase, which makes it a little harder/less cost effective to get 10+.  If it had been $35 I'd have more than 10.  But it will depend on sustained demand for TLBM.  If people don't care about these exclusive suits in 2 years, then it will probably not get back over $30.  But people love Batman and love fun Batman suits, and this is exactly that.  I only have 1 extra due to the $75 price point, but I'm not selling anytime soon.

...the second time.  I wasn't around for his first release, but I'm guessing it was at least all May 4th and possibly longer.

Target has the imperial troop battle pack for $9.99.  LS@H has it listed for 14.99.

That's a borderline price mistake.  All other new releases are @ RRP.  33% off ain't bad considering the authentic death trooper minifigures are selling for $7-8/each.  Of course for every real Lego DT sold there are 15 counterfeits selling for $2.50-$3.50/each.

Don't forget using your REDCard for an additional 5% off so you're looking at 38% off RRP.

On the way back from Disney World yesterday I was able to hit 4 B&N... came away with 4 Mystery Mansions, 5 Livi's, 1 Haunted Lighthouse, 4 Ariel, 1 Friends Private Jet, 1 Mystery Machine, 2 Mystery Planes.

Was hoping to find some retired Elves, but it seems B&N doesnt carry the line.

Could not believe the number of Mansions (found 6!!), Livi, and Ariel still on shelves.

Left a ton of Submarines, Caterhams... and did not touch a single Star Wars set.  Still some IST out there...

Total, hit 7 stores on vacation.  Got some Imperial Hotels (left some because the boxes were trash), Whitehouses, Mazes, as I said before Dolphin Cruiser, Emma's House, Steph beach vacation, Ariel, Livi, and a couple others not really worth mentioning.

One of my daughters (9) takes the prize for finding a mint American Girl doll with clothes in a stuffed animal bin at Goodwill for $4.  Didn't even try to convince her to sell it.  I only pulled out some sweet Tiger LCD handheld games from the 90's.

Good times...

5 Livi's!!!  This set is nowhere to be found where I live and has been that way for months.  I drove to at least 20 stores (they were all close by fortunately) trying to find one for my daughter who loved it after it retired of course.  Lego is hardly ever on sale at Barnes and Noble stores around here and I am so jealous of your finds.  I had to buy one on Ebay. :(  Same for the Mystery Mansion.  Only one lonely damaged box at full price at Kmart.  Same story for so many other sets like Wall-E and almost any Friends or Elves sets that are recently retired.  The only recently retired set I got more than one of was the Garbage Truck.  Corey30 knows my pain...

This thing is officially Ninjago Mechdragon #2. If it wasn't more hassle than it would be worth, I'd return my small stockpile. What a shame, and an eye opener.

The Volcano set, on the other hand... ;) I just wish this wasn't quite so "new". A bit of opportunity cost lost here.

Ok, first this set is just on it's way out and probably won't dry out until end of april. That's not out of the norm for a lot of Star Wars sets.  A few years back, people were still getting Republic Gunships, AT-TE's, and many other sets into late spring, and those sets are close to triple the buy-in.  Same could be said for sets in 2012 like the X-wing, and MF.

Second, the retired Force Awakens sets have something going for them.. The new movie is out later this year and that will spike demand for the previous sets, and by then there will be a scramble by the non-collecting afol-in-waiting, but just re-inspired hoarde to go and purchase sets like the FO Tie Fighter, this set, Leia's ship, the x-wings, MF, etc.  By then those sets will be hard to find.  That's why I think it could be a good bet to stock up now on TFA sets, because Lego is going to be having their hands full on producing this years winter wave, the upcoming summer wave, the last jedi and the Han Solo movie sets!  The Force Awaken sets are heading out.

Here's the other great thing.  It was recently announced by Star Wars.com that the Han Solo movie will stay with a memorial day release date, which means it will come out 6 months after the Last Jedi.  This is a good thing, because Lego will not be producing a lot of redundant sets for the Last Jedi, since they will be moving on to the Han Solo movie.  The Last Jedi will see 7 sets for the September 1st launch,  then maybe a handful of battle packs and a few other sets in winter, before the Han Solo film takes the stage.  New sets from the Force Awakens and Rogue One might not happen after this summer until perhaps summer of 2018.  It will be a good time to be a flipper.

(at least it won't add to my cart)

Might be for the best.  Lately they have been arriving less than minty.  Many creased boxes that I expect were returns.

But as long as the resell price keeps doing well, I'll keep accumulating at this price.
