Do you plan on building any of them?
If so, one of each. Arch sets aren't typically discounted much.

No, just for reselling.

Found quite a variety of lego architecture sets at B&N for 25% off.  Any specific ones besides capitol, trevi, and flat iron to get?

Perhaps not Flat Iron...

Let me guess, they're in the US but asking for canadian dollars.

I've reported about twenty listings today in the lotr / hobbit line. They're everywhere. I ran into a similar set of fraudulent listings from singapore last week where every account had exactly 5 feedback (all as buyer), all with bs listings. It's that time of the year I guess.

In the past few days I've seen a bunch of these type listings. For example one Batman Tumbler NISB for $13 and a bunch of Big Bang Theory for $16. With the latter, the payment is in Canadian but the seller has 53 feedback, been a member since 2014, and located in Arkansas. I don't understand these listings.

Sometimes listings are scams, and sometimes they are really a good deal. I just received my $35.99 Architecture London Skyline set from EBay the other day (purchased during 10% EBay Bucks). Label showed shipping was almost $9. So somehow this seller managed to make money on selling a $39.99 set for ~$22 in revenue after shipping and fees (or at least I hope they did). They had 9 available. Of course it is possible that these sets were obtained in less than legal ways, but no way for me to tell at this point.

I may or may not know a guy who bought from one of these suspicious Canadian payment listings a few days ago (for a few Mazes).  I know its rolling the dice, but if they don't get shipped won't eBay refund the buyer?  From a quick Google search this type of scam has the seller shipping a letter to the same zip code so they can provide eBay with a tracking number, but wouldn't we be able to find out the weight of the shipment from the tracking number, therefore proving it isn't the item?  Just trying to figure out all the angles here.

That's the problem, working the angles to leverage return/refund policies can only hurt everyone in the long run.

Yeah, I'm all for great deals but these are obviously bs claims and not worth the time.

You may be able to get your money back from ebay/Paypal but buying from these types of sellers where you know there is a good chance that it's a scam only ensures that this type of activity continues. If people don't buy from these sellers the scammers will give up and move on to some other scam.

Fair enough, that logic makes sense.  Live and learn.

Plus let me remind you that even though EBay/Paypal will have your back, they use our fees to cover these scams. The more these scams get encouraged by buyers falling for them, the more EBay/Paypal needs to reimburse, the higher our selling fees will become.

Totally.  If you want one of my 26 Pet Shops, you better make it worth my time.  $400, take it or leave it.  Payment in bearer bonds or uncut diamonds.  And no shipping hassle.  You come to me.

I like the way you do business. No screwing around.

I bought one maze @ Barnes noble  25% plus 10% membership today. They only had one maze. I left behind 2 (75140) Star Wars.  2 75828 ecto 1-2.   1  caterham 7.  1 yellow submarine.  3 21302 Big Bang theory.   All of them 25% plus 10% membership discount.  What you think guys I'm making a mistake.  Should I go back and buy them.  /??

When does the Barnes sale end?

It is over, I believe.

Don't know but I got it for 25% plus 10% member off. I'm gonna go back and get one Big Bang theory and the last yellow submarine and I'm gonna ask. I hope the yellow submarine still there.

Remember! Feb 28th will be last day of LEGO Shop at Home Batman 30607 Poly PROMO...last day. Prices on eBay dropped from 29.99-34.50 from 2 weeks ago to 18.95....
