It was the LEGO Stores at Downtown Disney in Anaheim and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. They were $100 each for awhile.

No matter of the buy in at $100 to $160. Once this retires, which should be soon, it will appreciate nicely. Keep in mind this set probably won't be remade and something like it won't be made either.

But it's Ninjago. It seems like a great build, and everyone says it is, but do you see someone paying $300 for it in the future? That isn't even worth a $160 purchase, so you really need like $400 to double after fees and shipping. Pass. I'll grab a new/no figs for myself on eBay in the next few months. Unless it's the $100 price point, no thanks.

I have to agree with this sentiment. I'm tempted to buy a few more at 160..but I just don't see this hitting 300 or more. It was hard to sell at 200.

Not to make everyone envious but my local B+N had their entire Batman collection on 25% off. Of course they did not have the Arctic Roller and Arkham Asylum for obvious reasons. Picked up quite a few of these at 35% off (using member card)

They also had a lot of star wars, Ninjago, Angry Birds and Minecraft sets in the clearance

All in all a very worthwhile trip!

What am I missing here?  I thought 35% off was the actual MSRP for these TLBM sets ??

You guys gotta look beyond Ninjago. This is a great Asian/Japanese landscape set. That's what will sell.

For $250-300, sure. Perhaps your proximity clouds your perspective ;)

B&N 50% is around the corner so I'm just wondering if I should wait but last time SW was not part of the 50% clearance.

Is there any confirmation for when the 50% sale is happening?

One set people haven't mentioned much that can be found at the occasional Barnes and Noble is the Darth Vader Tie vs A-Wing set. I stumbled across one which is exactly what I needed, so I was pleasantly surprised. The website however is way off, many sets are showing in stock that are nowhere to be found, which was irksome.

If anyone happens to have a TRU Clearance coupon they aren't using, feel free to PM one my way, thanks.

And for those asking how to get them - You need to sign up for TRU Catalogs and spam. They get mailed out. Occasionally coupon codes are generic and can be used multiple times, and sometimes they are one time use. This recent wave was one time use.

What would have been your price point on those Ecto 1's and how many where available? They are currently listed on Amazon for $86.99 w/free shipping and climbing everyday.

Sorry, Ecto1 and 2... I should have clarified!

Hit another after Disney World last night - more Scooby, Maze, retired Friends....  assuming others are seeing prices marked down further on boxes?  Some are marked 30% off...

Haha no worries, Had me like Whoaaaa at first. Would have been prime arm sweep if Ecto 1's.

Ed can you make a list of all the 25% B&N sets? All I know is that the new lego architecture sets are not on sale(Chicago, London, Sydney), but the old lego architecture sets are on sale(Capital Building, Buckingham Palace and New York City). Besides Architecture they had the Lego Beatles Yellow Submarine, Lego Ghostbusters and lego ideas. For Architecture, the first day I went to B&N, the lady was very impolite and just said there was no lego architecture sets on sale, even though there clearly was when I went to but the next day and that same thing happened with ghostbusters. The sales are on the old architecture sets and at least for me, it didn't apply to any new architecture sets. If you looked at the sign carefully, on the bottom left hand corner it read some exclusions apply.

I guess it pays to go to the store. B&N showed no stock locally but went to the store and was able to snag an Imperial Hotel for $92 out the door.

Are there any other architecture sets worth buying besides the White House, the Trevi fountain, and the Imperial Hotel?

Mine had the lego white house and I politely asked that same lady to make sure it was 25% off, but she said it wasn't. The next day I went, I saw that someone had bought it and was later informed by the cashier that the lego 21006 white house was apparently 25%.

I believe they added the Architecture sets later in the day because in the morning they weren't included.

If you click the link on B&N you can scroll the full list.

That's true because the first day B&N took action on the 25% off deals, the lego architecture sets weren't on sale until the next day when I came back to check.

Yes the Architecture sets have come up at the discount when they scan them in. The clerks always say they don't think they're included in the sale and then scan them and are shocked.

May be i will go to grab some Caterhams today, ...reserved some.
