Just got back from B&N. Went to pick up some Mazes and to stack the 25% with the 10% member discount. I politely asked the clerk if they had any more in back. While she was looking I found a single White House that I grabbed as well. She came out with four more Mazes. I paid and left the store. When I got in my car I glanced at my receipt and noticed that the White House also rang up as on sale. I wasn't expecting it to since Architecture is usually excluded. I didn't even ask when I checked out.

I went back in and grabbed the two US Capitol Buildings that were on the shelf. Those rang up on sale as well. Again, I didn't ask. They automatically rang up that way. Most likely a YMMV, but you may want to try.

When I did a sort by price this morning, I didn't see this. Someone can correct me but I think they added these.

They would not take the 25% OFF for me on the White house today

Similar thing happened during summer clearance. Some people had more sets on clearance than others.

Interesting. I had the guy who was checking on sets and adding the 25% off stickers to look up the arch sets. He looked on their computer and said it didn't look like any were in the sale. Now I'll have to try a different store tomorrow. 

Does everyone see a 10% discount for BN.com purchases on top of the 25% off lego, while shopping online?   I rarely shop bn.com and dont see a discount in my cart, when I clearly have a membership.

I also wonder if they added them. I picked up two Lincoln Memorials this morning, and one White House, none had the 25% off. Picking up another White House tomorrow, will consider that a big bonus if it works now.

I wouldn't be surprised if they added more. The signs in store said "25% off all LEGO sets priced $39.95 or higher" with "some exclusions" in very small print below. Fairly ambiguous to say *all* in big font and then say there are exclusions in the tiny font. Either it is all or it isn't.

So I'm sure they're getting tired explaining that all doesn't mean all.

My BN B&M experience today...

* Ditto to a lot of posts - I bought 3 retired sets at half of their current value.

* Take back your receipts!  I got the price difference refunded on 4 items today, all items over $39.95 and all bought in the last 7-30 days.  I called the retail help desk before I went and they said that they had a 14-day return policy and partial refunds were at the store manager's discretion.

On vacation in FL, the one B&N I hit must have been in the middle of retired people.

Livi's houses, Mazes, Dolphin Cruiser, Emma's Houses, all sorts of other retired Friends, Ariel's castles

Found a Scooby Lighthouse and Plane on the shelf.  Checking out asked if they had anymore... they found 2 Mansions in back.  They also brought out a bunch of Ecto 1 which I passed on... they were like whaaa?

Got one deep sea helicopter - realize it's still in stock some places, we'll see how it does.

Didnt see any architecture at all.  No old Star Wars.   No Elves - was hoping to find some Dragon Sanctuary...

Had my six kids with me... clerks said "You guys must really like Lego."  Yep...

What would have been your price point on those Ecto 1's and how many where available? They are currently listed on Amazon for $86.99 w/free shipping and climbing everyday.

Yeah I'm with BB, though I simply need one for personal build. Prices have skyrocketed and it isn't really available through normal channels.
