Got mine after about 30 minutes.

Both of mine came in less than 5 minutes.

Only email I got was for the receipt for the 5 I bought. Have no received any other messages/emails (yes nothing in junk) maybe I should contact them it's been 3+ hours.

I got my codes within a half hour.

The TRU sale is definitely well timed (of course, this is a yearly event since the last few years were the same).  I was coming back from the beach, so I stopped into one on the way back, and managed to grab the new Y-wing, and cleared out the last 75140 Resistance Transporters at the store.  I had some TRU coupons and points, so that helped take down the prices even further.  The Trooper Transporters for a bit under 40 is just as good as when Walmart was clearancing them at 35 last spring.  I'll take it.  I bet these go by the end of the week at this price. I don't see those, the Sith Infiltrator, Spider Droids, Naboo Starfighters, or the FO Transporters lasting.  

And I hope they all go soon, because once TRU is cleaned out these things usually rise in value.  Last year the MTT blew out right about now and it's up to 170... They also had it clearanced at prices where you could easily double your money in less than a year.  So, this is all easy money, IMO.

I am not sure if this has been discussed or I just didn't comprehend the posts earlier but there is an 20% discount sign for all SW sets...for example can you use this discount ontop of the already discounted first order transporter?

Prices are on their site. So it's factored in. That being said 20% off clearance, gift cards, reward points, truth, etc. can always be factored in and like always with TRU YMMV.

Going to try my luck at the 20% clearance tomorrow in store.

Confirmed today in store that 20% clearance stacks on 20% Star Wars sale, and works on multiple items.

Yeah, I went into a physical store today, and you can use gift cards ontop of the current 20% off.  While some sets have the inflated markup, the brand new ones are lego suggested RRP, so using the discount and my rewards it came down much futher.  You can get some of the new ones to build for a pretty good discount, which is great for building a few on the cheap.

Other sets, that they are trying to get rid of (the ones I listed above) are already discounted below RRP, and the 20% discount takes most of these to 40% off without further cards, points etc being used.  So, this time of year is a good time to clean out these sets, because it's their last hurrah, and Toys R Us is usually the last one to have these in stock online.  Usually after next week most of these sets get wiped out, and then they start to climb back to RRP, because most other retailers like Walmart, and Amazon are already OOS.

I think the SI is a better choice (from their clearance choices) only issue is they have released like 3 SI in the last like 6 years.

I think having Leia in the RT makes it have potential...it is an ugly set though...lol I have like 10 all @ 35.

6 have been released: 1999, 2004, 2007, 2011 and 2015 for regular releases and sdcc version in 2012. So only 2 regular releases in 10 years.

Managed to get semi-screwed at TRU, again. Reminding me why I absolutely hate the company.

So, I took the shelf label to the register to get an adjustment (at an employees advice). Scans at $74.98, guy does an adjustment to make it $51.98. I hand him my coupon for the additional 20%, and he says they cannot accept it as it does not stack with any other promotion. I ask him to just scan it: Nope. Ask him to void it so I can just use the coupon with the $59.98 scanning price, and he wouldn't do it.

What I paid:

$64.98 -20% SW = $51.98 - $10 GC = $46 each. Hurts knowing I could have saved an extra $20.

 

Said it once and I'll say it again, screw you Toys R Us.

1) I think you'll double your money anyway.
2) Maybe consider it a donation to keep their doors open another day.
