may be some orders got cancelled and it came back online?

i am beginning to think this is a trap.

TRU 30320 no-limit and eventually after we started hearing about TRU ban

Chicken coop no-limit and more people getting banned

now Kwik-E-Mart and Mini Cooper (granted they were shelf warmer) but again from BN.com who we know manually scans all order and does ban people using gift cards.

All of this talk about "traps" is preposterous.  Any retailer who wants to identify resellers and ban them doesn't need to waste their time setting a trap.  We generally make ourselves pretty f****** obvious and if someone doesn't, what's the point in trying to lure a customer into a buying pattern that will cause you to sever your relationship with them?

As for TRU, they implemented a new reseller policy in October...30320 went on sale in early July 2015 and they did not ban people specifically because of those purchases...if they had, I wouldn't have been able to buy from TRU through the end of November.  Anyone getting banned for the Chicken Coop is just getting swept up into their normal reseller policy.

BN.com doesn't ban people for reseller behavior...they simply cancel your orders once you reach their purchase limit.

This may be your experiences but some of this is not mine...

here's how that conversation would go : "I don't know who you are. I don't know why you banned me because i don't have patience for such nonsense. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my account go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will buy every Lego set you sell."

This may be your experiences but some of this is not mine...

How so?

So strange, half of my post is visible on app & half is missing but when I go back into it (in edit mode) it's there but not visible otherwise...

The running theory (and a good one) is that it's the ampersand character causing some of these display issues. In HTML it's coded up as this..

 &

The tapatalk app doesn't appear to handle it very well. I won't get into the specifics (http://www.theukwebdesigncompany.com/articles/entity-escape-characters.php) but there are a few others that could also cause this type of behavior (i.e. less than and greater than might as well). A good app will properly encode/decode as it passes through but alas it can be tricky. So if you (or anyone else reading) wants to avoid it, don't use ampersands.

-credit goes to jaisonline for noticing which funky character was the cause!

hmm this means others may price match.

ordered th Kwik-e-mart for $95 out-the-door.

$155 purchase price with tax and free 2-day shipping (member benefit)

- $10 B&N member reward GC from my membership anniversary

-$50 B&N GC from family at Christmas

I wasn't sold on either Simpson's set, but for that purchase price I'm in for one. I'll probably use the parts to make a MOC Modular Convenience Store. There was a nice article on the LEGO news page a couple weeks ago where the builder used the Kwik-e-mart downstairs with the Big Bang Theory upstairs for the apartment.

You paid $145 for KM. A gift card is the same as cash. If in your head you want to call it a discount, that's up to you, but it's silly to post that. And not a "deal"
