Hey Alpine, are you getting in on any of this action? What do you think about the Scooby packs?  I bought a bunch of sealed boxes but I'm not sure if I should get some more. Not sure about the future of these things and maybe selling some at Christmas time or something. Then again though, I don't want to hold onto these for close to a year.

I think any of the level packs are an amazing deals. From a gaming perspective it's the only way into the Scooby, Simpsons or Portal worlds.

But just from a minifigure perspective, you'll do just fine with Shaggy and Scooby for years to come.

Probably missed out on much better deals than this given that they're going for this on ebay. I'd like this for collection since it's going by the wayside soon but I guess I'll have to pass unless they lower it some more. Almost pulled the trigger and then x'ed out the tab.

This is not an endorsement, but FWIW... I see an ebay seller has "SAVE $10 FOR EVERY $100 YOU SPEND" right now on toys and game applies to 216 items / 10 Lego sets.  60132 Service Station $69.99 (lowest on ebay) +  76031 Hulk Buster $39.99 totals $99.98.  Has a few 80's space sets too, maybe someone can find something decent.

Strange lot, even for Craiglist. He got the M.Falcon version wrong, but still some good stuff in here. This is in Conway, Wa (north of Seattle):

I saw this too. Could possibly make your money back, but without the original boxes it might be harder. Still it's too much investment for me.

If every set is actually there and complete, you would probably make a solid profit there. Problem is, with this seller having little to no knowledge of the actual composition of the lot or completeness beyond the instruction manuals, this is probably too risky to recommend without hours of inventorying and checking parts.

The weirdest part is no pictures of actual Lego in any of the post. How do you take all of those pictures of instructions and then no pics of bins, pieces, etc? Seems like an obvious scam.

I vote scam too, but if that was within 8hrs of me I'd be investigating. 10179 almost pays for the lot itself if there.

Yah thx MarkeyMoose, I got the # wrong--indeed it is the UCS M.Falcon. Might not be a scam but just a family emergency (medical, divorce, etc.), and they didn't think posting bin pics was necessary. If you had the SPACE (and $), shaking it all out would be kind of fun ?

This was online at Kmart.com for about 24 hours for $79.99 with $22.99 back in points, then yesterday it dropped to $15 in points and now it's $69.98, no points, but sold by TRU through KM (and on toysrus.com).  If you're willing to play the ShopYourWay point game and look for deals/glitches there are some good buys.  I posted this below on the Kmart board yesterday... Right before the price changed I got one FOT at $39.75, and that's with NO coupons as there's a known glitch on Kmart.com that sometimes won't let you apply coupons.  Thank you, Kmart for the mysterious $24 anyway! YMMV (wildly!)

BTW, since it's on toysrus.com now you can go to a TRU store and price match to their site.  Get a GC (9% today). With TRU credit card points I calculate 75103 at $59 + tax.

My lesson in Kmart math:

A = Star Wars First Order Transporter #75103 $79.99, earn $22.99 in points

B = Creator Lakeside Lodge #31048 $21.16, earn $2.11 in points

C = A + B = 2 sets $101.15, earn $25.10

BUT Kmart math (checkout) says

C = 2 sets $101.15, earn $49.16

Which works out to 59% off: $39.75 for 75103 and $13.25 for 31048 inc. tax.

Glitchy stuff. I got in one order, then the FOT went off the points back special :P

Yep, that's me. Whoever poof'd them cancelled shortly thereafter (probably having seen jaisonline's recommendation). Obviously bought all 3 before having looked at the listing...

Anyhow, if a BP'er was interested, message me to discuss. I could probably go as low as $40-55 for one of you guys in a private deal.

I hate when that happens and it ends your listing especially since you already had 2 sold. If you relist them they don't show as high in the search results as they did before. At least it happened before you shipped. When yellow submarine (not sure what the set abbreviation is YS?) first came out I had numerous cancels and return requests for my NO BOX NO MINIFIGS listing even though it was in the title and description and the pics were just of the sub.

The buyer had over 4K feedback so not a newb and is a BP let's see if they own up ;)
