March 7, 20169 yr Do we have any potato based names on BP? Quick, someone review the member list! Edited March 7, 20169 yr by jbacunn
March 7, 20169 yr ordered th Kwik-e-mart for $95 out-the-door. $155 purchase price with tax and free 2-day shipping (member benefit) - $10 B&N member reward GC from my membership anniversary -$50 B&N GC from family at Christmas I wasn't sold on either Simpson's set, but for that purchase price I'm in for one. I'll probably use the parts to make a MOC Modular Convenience Store. There was a nice article on the LEGO news page a couple weeks ago where the builder used the Kwik-e-mart downstairs with the Big Bang Theory upstairs for the apartment.

Paragraph right below the one that explains that everyone must only purchase a quantity of one set when they find a deal so that everyone can get their fair share. Just above the paragraph that requires us all to defer purchasing any investment items until 24 hours after a deal strikes so that we can be sure the true LEGO lover has his opportunity to purchase before the "resellers" profit from his inattentiveness.

I missed out!* *I actually had some of both in the cart and decided against checking out as neither looked like sets I'd want to deal with the amounts already hoarded and their longevity (especially the Mini) . How is that for restraint?
March 7, 20169 yr Got an email from eBay for 40% off final value fees on collectibles and Lego is on the list. It runs through 3/31. Time to clear out some excess stock.

I received a similar email, but I couldn't tell what it was for. It didn't say anything about 40% in mine.

It was trying to encourage me to sell baseball cards and coins. I forwarded the email to my slickdeals friends.

B&N's system is set up to enforce quantity limits after an order is placed by cancelling any orders that put the buyer beyond the designated quantity limit on a given item. If the system reserves the items ordered for purposes of availability on the website before that point in the system, there may be inventory that is currently reserved, but will become available later when someone who tried to order 20 copies gets most of their orders cancelled.

March 7, 20169 yr Has anyone seen their BN order status change to something besides "processing "? I ordered before lunch time, and just a single copy. Just curious when/if I'll get a firm confirmation.

Combined with double vip might be a good time to stock up if it's your niche. Ymmv depending on your local store city sets were the deep sea line, demolition, and space illinois?
