Insanity. $200 for a $5 poly.

Don't we want to have 200 of it?

Of course. It's just insane that someone would pay that much for a polybag that will be available shortly.

Oh. when will it be available? it is kind of cute. maybe those bidders do not know? we should tell them to drop the bids and help them make some sense.

Ok then why torment yourself by coming here.  Just sell all your stuff and try something else or just enjoy life without the added stress.

You obviously didn't pick up on the sarcasm.  Look a couple posts above.

Edit, unless this was a sarcastic comment.  Hard to tell.

I should have used an emoji.  A $5 poly just sold for $200.

Something tells me this is an example of classic shady eBay 101. A dupe account bids on your item to run up the price or even win ourtright at a crazy price. Subsequent listings will then reference "sold price" and fool bidders into thinking they've gotten a deal.   In reality there has been no sale.

Totally possible. Seems shady.

I believe it, since if you check out the bid history of this auction(link is provided below) it shows a cancelled bid of $500, meaning people bid to bring up the price and then cancel their bid. This may be because they want to raise the value of the product since they might have one like it that they would want to sell at a ridiculous price.

Nonsense.  The only reasonable explanation here is that buyers literally prefer 30611 to 10225, even for the same price.  You heard it here first.

Did some demographic studies tonight.

I asked my four year old, seven year old and eight year old daughters what sets they would like to build tonight. Unanimously.........ELVES!

My ten year old son LOVES the Lego City Volcano series.

I am toiling with my Porsche 911 but still smiling.

Thats nothing.  Take a look at the one that sold 5 days ago.

That's insane. I worry for at least a week that the buyer didn't realize what they were buying and demand a refund.

I noticed earlier today a listing on Amazon for Nexo Knights Merlocks Library (retail $25 and often reduced to $20 at Shop at home) listed for $80. I thought that was crazy. This definitely tops it.

Being a Castle fan I'm more favorable of Elves than many. They do have some interesting parts. I can see the appeal for young ones.

Target gift cards are 6.4% off at cardcash

just an fyi

They know the names of all of the elves/characters, whether they are good or evil, what they represent and their special powers. I do not know how they acquired that info but there you go. LOL

How is that a reasonable explanation? What you're saying is like buying a mini Millennium Falcon for $500 because lego 10179 Millennium Falcon went for the same price, according to your reasoning.
