It was not busy at all. Could get on all rides with virtually no wait. Thanks to @minifigw i scored an A-wing vs Tie advanced for 62.00 minus red card discount and resistance troop transport for 48.00. Also picked up a nice elves set for my daughter at thirty percent off. Now to get them all on the plane LOL. Going to Disneyworld with my almost four year-old on January 9 and hope that it will be a little calmer. Staying at Disney resort so should be good. Wont have rental car so not a lot of clearance shopping going to happen. My son is waiting for me to get home so I can build the Porsche 911 with him. December 31, 20168 yr Resistance XWing has been on $55 and under perma-discount. Are they clearing them out or did they expect to sell a lot more but everyone still bought Poe's? It's one of the only Star Wars sets that lots of stores had stock of throughout Christmas.

I believe that prior to 2016 they never maintained two minifigure-scale X-wings in production simultaneously. But apparently that was the plan not only for 2016, but 2017 as well. For what it's worth, I expect one of them to retire at the end of next year.

X-wings have often had much longer than normal shelf lives (remember 6212?), and at any given time, there is a 97.63% chance of a minifigure-scale X-wing being in production. Both current models will presumably be relevant throughout the upcoming SW Episodes VIII & IX. It's tough to imagine both being retired at the same time without a replacement ready, though I could certainly see Lego retiring one or the other (not necessarily the older one). I invested in neither, despite the discounts this Fall, for this reason and because there is heavy overlap between the two sets not just in terms of the model, but also with regard to the included minifigures. I anticipated it being difficult to sell 75149 for $100 while 75102 was widely available for ~$60, or vice versa. Now if both retire in the very near future, they'll have been a good pickup.
