These are just about the lowest prices we've seen on these sets. For investment, I like the Minecraft set more. But both will probably be around for another year or two. For me, buying at 25% off 6 months before retirement is better than buying at 50% off a year earlier.

Minecraft 21125 is 39.00 on Amazon.

Was 39 for me. I think I used wrong code I did boxed. Anyway still a good deal and used the Amex offer. Over 50% and didn't have to live my house I'm happy with that.

Ninjago Lighthouse Siege looks really nice.  If it were retiring this year, I'd probably pick up 10 at half off.  But it's not, so...  Mostly I'd only buy it now for personal play or display.  Cool set though.  Reminds me of the original Ninja theme from way back.

I'm trying to understand.  41135 is basically sold out everywhere, yet lots of sellers on eBay are dumping them for $45-$50 shipped.  What is the appeal here (of picking them up at Amazon for $39)?

Only thing I can think of is that it's a house, which are somehow outnumbered by vets, day cares, stables, bakeries, supermarkets etc. in every LEGO line ....

I had the Temple in my cart on Amazon but was distracted for a minute and when I went back to buy it.......gone.

Oh well, hopefully better prices will show up.

On a separate note my Porsche 911 GT3 arrived today! This is by far and away the classiest and most professional looking LEGO box I have ever seen. I do not want to open it!

I'm seeing anywhere between $65-$95 on eBay being sold..and I'm not even counting the total on shipping. The average is about $75 right now I believe so the value is good if you're buy in is at $39.

Sort by price+shipping low to high.  I'm assuming at least some customers can look past the first few "best match" results.

Ah I see what you did there...misread your post but yeah they are selling em low but can't ignore the fact if you see the last 9 sold items it rose up highly.

I'm scared of this one (Friends Livi's Pop Star house). At $40 its only $10 below retail and was released in 2016. As someone else pointed out it is a house (when most sets in the line are shops). Could it be that the other few larger house are sold out so parents are clamoring for this one... since it is a cheaper alternative than the harder to find larger houses (and probably much higher price now). I have very little experience with Friends. There was a purple/lavender house that seemed to be a good seller (and much nicer looking than this Pop Star house... but of course its probably harder to find in stock, was larger and an older set). I'm expecting this Pop Star house to only be popular for a few days... until Christmas is over.. or until people realize that the demand has dropped. If ordered now one wouldn't be able to sell it until after the Christmas holiday (after it arrives in the mail. I'm definitely still learning... but I'm nervous about this one.

With some sold for $50 and some for nearly $100, you can buy it and sell the same one on one website

i think the fact that it is sold out at lego is feeding the frenzy.
