It's a really cool set that doesn't get talked about much. Who knows what it's future looks like.

FWIW. my son has the Jestro's Evil Mobile and I think its a cool set. My younger son especially likes the Hover Horse that comes in that set. (neither watch the show)

70323 Jestro's Volcano Lair is the coolest set out of the bunch. Hasn't been discounted much though. 

I have purposely ignored lot of deals past few months except for LEGO Shop at Home promos but still have not bought as much I did last year. I'm slowly thining out my lego inventory but I still have a lot. Sending FBA boxes every day past few days and still lot to go until next week. I know I'm little late on sending stuffs for Christmas but trying to keep up and make spaces. 

I set my buying threshold at 50% or more and started to see some 50% deals yesterday with Target. Bought a few sets and today saw Amazon deals. Bought Nexo Knight sets after debating. I thought this set was cool and 50% today was good enough to pull the trigger. Bought a few sets from TRU as well. Mostly burned my old Target/Amazon/TRU gift cards but spent quite a few for two days.

Thanks for the deal alerts! I can feel my buying mode is turning on and need to be careful for impulse buys.

That's the only nexo set that I'm tempted to get and it still has to have a good discount before I get it.

My guess is that the TRU sales are valid in store.  That was true for the last go round which is where I burned through my remaining stash of discount GCs.

Deep Sea Set RRP is $99.  $50x2x.8 (BOGO40) = $80 + tax for 2.  Factor the TRUTH + GCs tomorrow and you are talking about a compelling discount for just about any sub-theme within City ("sub-theme" double entendre intended).  I'm tapped out on my .8 GCs, but if you have any, then $80x.9x.8=$57.60 if you are very aggressive with the CC partial pay.  Sub $30 is certainly a Deep Sea Diving Discount.

I'm actually slightly annoyed at this discount, because I had IDed this as a bit of a "sleeper" and was buying them at 70-80 with 2x VIP/PROMOs from Shop At Home. Ah well. Still a great price for a retiring set. 

It IS interesting that instead of letting things become Toys R US Exclusives and having them linger on shelves forever, TRU has been VERY aggressive this year in moving stuff. We talk about there being too many sets, imagine how retailers feel who have to find shelf (and warehouse) space, plus all the new stuff/lines.

Walmart cleared these out at $60 in the spring. Most people seem to dislike this yet (I was hoping myself it wouldn't last this long) but I think it's neat, and $73 is obviously still a good price.
