December 13, 20169 yr My apologies if already mentioned but looks like Target matched amazon on Ferry and Caravan such that if you want multiples to hit $100 and have red card, you can get these for right around 55% off. Not a city fan myself: Ferry - $17.99 - buy 6. Comes out to $13.13 a piece. MSRP $29.99 (although note it has been routinely at $19.99 for its life. http://www.target.com/p/lego-city-ferry-60119/-/A-49119143 Caravan - $12.79 - buy 8. Comes out to $9.18 a piece. MSRP $19.99 http://www.target.com/p/lego-city-van-caravan-60117/-/A-49119157 Tax not included in the analysis
December 14, 20169 yr Target.com, got both 75103 and 75140 for store pickup. Total $77.40 before tax... ~52% off.... couldn't pass up for personal collection.

December 14, 20169 yr At Target: Gen Grevious $27 each. Darth Vader $21 each. Rey Speeder $12.79. Boba Fett/Han Carbon Chamber set $17.49. 3x Gen Grevious and 1x Darth Vader set = $105 plus tax minus $25 = $80. So that's $20 each. There's a 3x limit for Gen Grevious. Not bad. Gen Grevious retails for $35 and Vader for $25

There's a new First Order Battle Pack coming out in 2017, which will hurt the value of the Troop Transporter. My money is actually on the Resistance Transporter. It's actually a really cool ship. Hopefully it's shared heritage with the B-Wing doesn't hurt it

Glad I found some Resistance troop transporters for $20 at Target.

I'm not gonna go nuts on math but seems like a decent set. You sold me on the carbon chambers. In for twelve at $13.29 each after tax, red card, and $25 off $100 discount (49% off). Two separate orders of six. Good deal.

But we've got a year left on this one.

But we've got a year left on this one. Agreed. Maybe too early to buy for investment purposes. I tacked one on to a Target order (at $20 or 21... before the price dropped even more to $17ish) to reach the $100 threshold. Both the Boba Fett and Han with carbonite piece has already sold for $10 each. There's a new Star wars Desert Skiff set 75174 http://www.bricktoynews.com/lego-star-wars-2017-sets-wing-desert-skiff-landspeeder/ with Boba Fett coming soon which could hurt the value of the Carbonite Chamber set. Pics that I've seen thus far of the Boba Fett in the Desert Skiff set look very similar (or the same). Still the Carbonite Chamber is a neat idea and have the carbonite piece that isn't extremely common plus the Ugnaught minifig. I bought one for myself just for the Boba Fett and carbonite piece. Worst case scenerio at $17 (plus additional deduction of $25 off 100) its a great gift. I'm on the fence with the Resistance Transporter... Its different. Any chance that might see Force Awakens version of Leia in a microfighter set (like Hera with the Ghost microfighter?) That could hurt the value of the Resistance Transporter.. although its interesting build might reduce the loss of value. You guys are killing with the great deals. Over the past few weeks I've stepped back several times and asked myself if I should stop with the purchases (can I move the items at a profit that I'm buying?). Its easy to get carried away. Thanks everyone for sharing your finds! Sorry. Hope I didn't stray off topic too much. Batman (movie) Mr Freeze set has dropped to $16.82 at Amazon. Batmobile 70905 down to $49.99 https://www.amazon.com/LEGO-BATMAN-MOVIE-Batmobile-Building/dp/B01J8PBBKA/ref=pd_sim_21_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01J8PBBKA&pd_rd_r=2CHS8A1XY148WR152FGW&pd_rd_w=yNSOC&pd_rd_wg=7pGzp&psc=1&refRID=2CHS8A1XY148WR152FGW and the Joker car is still at regular price. December 14, 20169 yr Those holding back better not complain in the next month, in the next year, about how there is a lack in Lego sales. Take advantage. At 40-50% off msrp there is money to be made. But then again everyone has different profit margins. No need to be greedy. Profit is profit. Sell at a high volume if profits are slim. Adjust to come out a winner.

Time vs discount vs space ... gotta have a median to succeed. 11 minutes ago, hippielego said: if you ball hard, you make space. You just talked me into twelve more. 24 of these is good for now until summer clearance when Walmart will probably mark them at 30% off and they will all get scooped up, never making it to this type of discount in the wild except for the random backwoods Walmart that will blow them out at $5 each. My best bet for a similar price later will probably be at Shopko by stacking a sale or clearance price with a $10 off $50 coupon, but that's no guarantee. When the price is right, you buy. These sets are small, so storage is not an issue. I don't quick flip very much so most everything I buy goes into storage for at least 2-3 years anyway. 49% off is a no brainer for me on this one.
