Once I placed an order for 3 of the TRU cards it wouldn't let me buy any Babies R Us cards.

Same here.  "You are currently winning or have bought the maximum allowable amount of this seller's items in the last 10 days."

I had ordered one eBay GC from PPDG on 2/27.  So maybe that was my 4th allowable from this seller in the past week.

To make their number, TLG will have to flood the market with even more sets this year. Bad news for lego investing. Very bad.

or could be a good thing if stores have to clearance stuff to get product moving.

i seriously doubt that this would have a long term leg.

if you all remember few weeks ago i mentioned about "higher %" off for the recent star war sets going to be in ebay. i am sure you are all enjoying the deals that have been coming  on. there are more lot more inventory that i am aware and have seen. seriously looks like combination of

a. TLG over produced star war sets

b. there is a huge inventory (not sure where its coming from. its really huge.)

i am seriously getting scared about the level of inventory thats there with regard to

75100, 75101, 75103, 75104, 75105, 75106. i was under the impression that at least 75105 will hold but apparently its inventory is so huge that there are people dumping it around $100 which is about 36% off RRP.

i haven't seen 75102 but i am pretty sure that its out there just that people are holding that to their chest.

also to add to this there are quite a lot of new brick link stores popping up and they are going straight to the heart. within less than 2 months i have seen some stores climb up to over 120k parts. that's some serious parting. hope that $40k worth of inventory pans out :).

i serious hope that i am wrong and people know what they are doing but if not its going to be really bad for all of us.

remember 21109, 70725 and of course there are lot more.

There must be a bunk market I'm not aware of.  Did anyone actually see Ninjago selling?

Yeah Ninjago sold alright. TLG sold a bunch to retailers where it still sits on shelves. Sell through to customers is a different story =)

so I was at my local K-mart.  lego shelves literally cleaned out.  I ask the associate, did you guys clear this out recently?  She says "oh yea, making space for new product."  I ask "do you have any more clearance stuff left?"  she directs me to the proper area and these are the two I find...

Sky I isn't falling yet, I sold a 75105 yesterday for $100 with no minifigures

i am sure its not an exception.

and we are not talking about regular buyer who would think 75105 for $100 (without mini figure) is a deal.  when we all know that the retailers are selling it $105 and there are ebay listings for 10+ each around $100, $117, $124 for about 3 weeks now.

i am just flagging cautionary sign.

How much discounted inventory are you seeing out there?  I think these random eBay deals are people that got lucky finding clearance for 50-75% off and are flipping them.  Not to mention the store closings this time of year where a select few are scoring great deals.  The TFA sets haven't even been out 6 months yet so I'm not sure why you would be concerned about inventory levels this early on.  Maybe I'm missing something though.

Go to any 3-8 year old boys birthday party and you will see most the gifts are Ninjago legos.

But don't go unless you're invited. Otherwise it's frowned upon.

its seriously huge. if a small timer like me is able to see this at this level. not sure what the bigger players are getting. plus also there are quite a few of these. i am talking about at least 30+ each from multiple sources across the country from Michigan, Mass, Texas, Arizona, Connecticut.

apparently i am getting error uploading pictures. but after picking up 2 lots i gave up :) .... don't have the resources to keep piling up on goods ;)

there you go... die.. will you !!!!!

Where are you buying these from though?  Only a select few stores around here put TFA on clearance and they were available in such small quantities after Christmas that it was hardly noticeable.  I'm not seeing what you're seeing but I also don't have non-retail sources for this stuff in any quantity.

Well not much happening here today ... anyone take advantage of the BAM 29% off sale yesterday?  Whaddya get? I was planning on it. .. but then got busy with work and forgot.
