whenever i've had this happen, just try to purchase fewer GC on ebay and it should go through. sure it says 5 is the limit but for whatever reason i've still only been able to get 3.

Most of these sets are uninteresting from an investment standpoint but my bricklink store is in heaven.  Some of those ninjago sets are amazing part outs.

This has happened for years every time PayPal runs these deals. Sometimes takes 5-10 tries, but usually eventually works.

I have more sets to part out than I know what to do with... Space is becoming an issue to keep track of all the parts.

Same here. Last time I was able to complete checkout eventually, but not today. Verification text never worked. Had to use phone calls, last code I entered was deemed not correct, despite being 100% correct, so now I'm locked out. lol. Whatever.  thanks for the heads up anyway!

I've done pretty well with trains and Ninjago Dragons in the past and present.

I've always adopted the stance of getting sets that I would enjoy building.  The investment and selling side is always a bonus.

Thanks for the heads up, that worked. I only wasted 20 minutes instead of an hour trying to get it to go through. :-P

Don't want to derail the deals thread so feel free to send me a pm with any questions.  You definitely have to commit to it.  I use akro-mils drawers and I've got ~120k parts in ~1350 drawers.  Way more space efficient than sets.  Also makes a lot more sets interesting to invest in.

Another year, another time this forum gives me help on finding 50%.  ???

I've tried lowering it to 3,2,1, etc. Still can't get PayPal to stick.  I'll have to try later.

I was having the same issues with 5.  I changed it to 3 just now and it worked for me.

I was able to get 2, have not tried for more yet.  normally the $85 for 100 are slower sellers but this close to bf and christmas who knows...

Figured it out, by the time I tried to lower it to 3, I'd already tripped security.  I had to reset my password and then buy 3.  I'm getting the same error when trying to buy 2, so I'm thinking 3 is max, unless you guys tell me differently?

Just checked out with 5. No problems other than having to re-confirm my device for PayPal. Seems to happen every time on these for some reason.
