I called shopko. They still honoured the 40% discount plus gave me $10 credit. Not bad, for first time order with them. Now...I am waiting for another sale like this one in this site. they did huh. good for you. hopefully it posts to your account. apparently unless they shitted me.. they have 2 level approval process i.e. whatever the customer service says has to be approved by the second level and apparently that never happened with me
February 24, 20169 yr Or, if you don't pay sales tax, go with Amazon. Or if you have Amazon card and 5% cash back.

February 24, 20169 yr Noticed that I have $15 in surprise points at KMart.com that only seem to show up if I put a Hot Buy in my cart with an order total of $75 or more (perhaps $70 ... and not sure if you can have a small Hot Buy and other items and still qualify) ... does anyone else see this too? Is there a way to search for just Hot Buys at KMart? Not in the mood to filter through 450+ LEGO items by clicking them one-by-one. $15 in surprise points doesn't stack with $10 off $75, as all those coupons exclude Hot Buys. Still, it makes Kmart's overpriced 75102 X-Wing ($84.99) $75 after tax, which is about $1 cheaper than Amazon (for me at least - I pay tax at Amazon). Edited February 24, 20169 yr by Phil B

Go out to Shopyourway.com and you will be able to see the terms of the surprise points. I like to pair surprise points with items that are already marked down, to achieve a larger discount.
February 24, 20169 yr Popular Post LEGO Star Wars TIE Advanced Prototype $34.99 good price? http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Star-Wars-Advanced-Prototype/dp/B00NHQI286%3FSubscriptionId%3DAKIAJQSYTIGRBKVM26KQ%26tag%3Dbrickpicker-20%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB00NHQI286#Ask Got a good laugh out of this question....
February 24, 20169 yr Never noticed this before, but I left an item($80) in my Shop Your Way cart. I think it was yesterday and today I received a 10% off in future points email for this item or any other item in what they are calling "home". I clicked through the link, item was not available but seems to apply to other lego sets on SYW and KMART sites, the ones I looked at were not marked hot buy. YMMV Edited February 24, 20169 yr by legogregors
February 24, 20169 yr I have seemed to have stopped getting any surprise points or good coupons from Kmart. I must have angered the syw gods. Edited February 24, 20169 yr by stackables

I've been looking over and over on how to utilize these without secretly spending >$100 in the two transactions (the surprise points don't combine with any other offer), but haven't found a deal that works with my investment strategy (I need bricks for my BL parts store). So for now I am passing.

I was getting 2 or more good coupons a week the end of last year, so far this year I think I have had one or two total. and the only surprise points i have seen is $5 on $35 at sears exclusively. Seems like all the magic is drying up for SYW, TRU and others...
February 24, 20169 yr Sad when the daily deal thread descends into discussion of SYW points and coupons. Not criticizing anyone, just saying that there are no deals anymore and this is the only way to make our own deals.

You guys are fuddy duddys, There are still several 20% off City items leftover on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=lego+city I won't talk about my SYWR coupons this year in fear I may incriminate myself. I only have one SYWR account, so no I don't work that angle.
February 24, 20169 yr All this SYW talk got me to place an order with that $10 off $30 coupon (which is really $10 off $50 since I don't like to pay for shipping). Watch for my post in the complaint forum about the shipping...

I made a variety of purchases site to store/in store/online so far this year which may be prompting better deals. I am still $4,200 away from "Gold" level but somehow have free shipping on every order due to SYW max(maybe?). Each time I request the extra $1.00 back in surprise points for economy shipping and still take delivery in 1-2 days. Huge YMMV as last year, no memorable deals to speak of. And today, to redeem the very same $15 points (before they expire in 3 days), I again bought something I don't need. Very clever, Kmart!
