Here's a SYW points deal for buying BN gift cards from Raise.  You get $5 per $15 spent (up to $50 in points).

Bummer that you can buy only $200 of BN gift cards per month on Raise.  Fine print:

How does this work? Will it give $50 back in points for 1 gift card purchase of $150 or more? Or one has to make multiple $15+ orders in order to get $5 back each time?

Would like to know this, too. If I add a $25 gift card to my cart it only says I'll get $2 in points back so it doesn't appear to be working at all right now for me.

Ok, newb here, be nice. Can somebody explain to me how this whole thing works? I mean, how are syw (what is this anyway?), raise.com and gift cards are related?

Raise is a partner of SYW. Apparently there is a promotion going on right now where you get $5 back for every $15 you spend at Raise. It says it takes 30-45 days to get the points. You can then use the points on anything that's eligible on SYW, which includes all kinds of stores (Sears, Barnes and Noble, Target, etc).

SYW is Shop Your Way, mostly used for Sears/Kmart. It's a reward system.

As Serejai mentioned, Raise is a partner of SYW.  Use this link I posted as I believe you will be able to get the points clicking on the link.  You'll get the points added to your account in 30 days or so.  I guess I should have mentioned another stipulation - you get $5 in points for purchasing $15 in gift cards, but after the $15 purchase you get 8% back with a maximum of $50 total in points.

I should add a word of warning here - make sure you keep a copy of the fine print and a receipt of your purchase just in case you don't receive the points.  I've had this happen several times and SYW customer service has always been helpful and awarded the points.

I know it's a pain in the butt, but hey it's free money : )

Just notice the falcon is also labeled with 30% off at BN not already sold out. Was it already out before the sale or did I miss the boat?

Not even a 30% off sale can kill Barnes and Nobles stock of ToA. This is either really good or reallllly bad news.

It's an odd set.  AFOLs admire it more than your average 9 yo Ninjago fan.  But we don't really give a crap about the minifigs (at least the ninjas).  At $200 it's not a terrible value for it's piece count but it would have sold better had it been a $150 set to begin with.

This B&N discount was a nice surprise... I've spent way more than I should have...

There's something about the temple that just keeps me from buying it at this point.  Perhaps the sense that it is no where near retirement and I'd rather buy other sets for now rather than have this one sit in my stash for maybe another year before EOL.  Or it's not a modular so I feel it would always be capped at some point. Something like the castle vs HH. I know it sits on it's own theme, but this thing would be awesome if it was a full building.  Saying all of this, it will probably retire this year and go for 3x RRP.

Don't worry. Exclusives don't go for 3x MSRP any more. If SSD and TH haven't made it yet nobody else stands a chance.
