I agree with you and I think that it's a tough call because every other set to have a huge flipping opportunity has been a relative dud after retirement

I'd buy at 30 percent only because my local targets always sell out at this point. Only one that seems to struggle selling on the shelf at 30 percent is the trex tracker.

Oh and while we're at it - Free Shipping at KMart.com now starts at $49 (for the last week or two already), no longer at $35. Gone are the days of getting Changing Seasons shipped for free - especially sad now the online price is $37 and I have $5 in surprise points for purchases over $35 waiting ......

That's a good price. What's everyone's take on the performance of this series? I thought I remember hearing some people still seeing a ton of these in their stores. I haven't see any in mine for a long time now.

Wow, that is no joke. A Danish seller on Bricklink has 350 boxes listed for US$103 ea (no VAT, no shipping), so about the same once shipping is added.  

Edit: A Russian seller has 24 boxes for US$113.54 ea...no charge for shipping. Yikes.

pretty much sucks.  and i was a believer.  maybe in 10 years they might make some money.  or no one will care about the simpsons anymore except for geriatric boomers and half demented gen x-ers and social security will barely pay for their tender vittles much less something as extravagant  as lego  simpsons minifigures.  i'm still afraid to type in brickpicker.com.  i'm still wincing when the home page loads.

There was a box full of these left untouched for a while at my Kmart, and one day they were gone.  I was going to say "I pity the fool..." but I actually pitied the people who got those 

Some of the Amazon high discount sale items stickied in the first post that went out of stock earlier in the week are back, like Fire Truck and 4x4 off-roader.
