For some reason when I tried to register for an account on sunnykart.com, I was asked for my email address but not a password.  Now I cannot login to my account b/c I do not have a password.  I clicked on the lost password link several hours ago and have yet to receive the password reset email.  Oh well, more money in my pocket and one less customer for them.

Psst.
When you initially checked create account and entered email you should have received an email with an automatically generated password (no, you don't create password on initial account creation). Subject for email was: Your Account on Sunny Kart.

Having done the reset link might have botched things up though now. Oh well. :-(

I never received a welcome email when I created my account.  That explains why I do not have a password.  The site does show that my email address is already registered so it did stick in their system at least.  Something obviously went wrong when I went through the registration process.

Like I said earlier, no biggie, I'm not worried about it.

Maybe he ran out of passwords and resorted to drop-shipping one to you ... it'll come after the weekend in an Amazon box with a gift receipt .....

So the posts here on the legitimacy of sunnykart are so varied it's difficult to tell what the overall feeling is on Niko and his business practices.  20% off on a few UCS sets or expert sets, although rare, is not completely unheard of these days.  We've seen substantial discounts on sets such as ucs tie fighter, kwik e mart, etc from legitimate businesses.  We've seen jet.com be successful with what seems to be similar approach as well with discounts from promo codes to bulk purchases.  Some companies do take an initial loss on first purchases to get you in the door for future purchases.  Is that what is happening here or is it believed to be a more permanent shady practice?

Now...don't make me question/regret purchasing $227 UCS Sandcrawler... ;)
