Yes you can . I would highly recommend using them for instore purchases only though. Many online retailers use them as a prime example when blocking accounts due to stolen CC/ giftcard fraud .

Do you have any insight or experience that GC #'s from Raise are any more likely to be a problem/excuse than for example TRU GCs from PayPal Gifts?

I've done digital, physical, from eBay, Paypal, Cardpool, Raise, in store, online and haven't hit any problems. Physical cards in store does seem like the safest way, but without having had a problem I don't have insight. Of course (knock knock), eventually I'm sure I'll hit something somewhere...  Understand if reality is ymmv, who knows, that's life, etc...

Apology junking up DD with Q's.

Raise ( and many other similar sites  ) is under the microscope since they buy and sell GC from individuals as opposed to PayPal .

Yours truely was banned from BN.com for " facilitating credit card fraud ". I am aware of various sells being banned from Tru.com , target.com , Disneystore.com for the exact same reason . Most of those individuals used GC purchased from Raise .

Thanks BA. Thinking more on it I've by far used Raise in store more than online so perhaps I've slid by.

pretty much. You just turn the faucet in the back and all four spouts convert it into Brandenburg Fountain. Lego should include some blue translucent 1x1s and call it a 2in1 set.

same here... its not only related to raise. they might be more reputed than others but problem i had faced with gift-cards are:

a. disappearing values on cards

b. its good until it doesn't work [ very very hard to get funds back ]

c. had been banned by TRU [ remember the FAO cards.. ]

d. target cards also had vanishing/diminishing values.

e. had problem with latest round of staples/tru gift card. no value and giftcardmall isn't able to put $ back on. staples is harping that they need refund from the other guys before issuing refund. so its a full circle....

hence, i have decided to not go through use of gift cards at all for online purchases. if i ever get a gift card that's only from paypal digital ones and haven't been burned on those yet. lets see how long thats going to last.

if you ever buy online gift cards make sure that you use them within a very very short span of time. don't plan to keep them for long...

I bought one of these from this seller last week (when they 'only' had 94) and it came in over the weekend and is perfectly legit.  Not sure if they found 850 more legit ones, but mine was good to go.

I looked at their history and they sell toiletries, along with this as well just randomly.  I'll wait until tomorrow. New monthly budget time!

Such a ripoff, even on sale; you only get 2 "sheets", where each sheet is 39"x27"
