Local Lego store has different stuff on 20% off sale as SOH. For example, I spotted that 21302 Big Bang Theory was not on sale but 60095 Deep Sea Exploration and 60080 Spaceport were. This tells me that this particular sale is more likely an inventory flush and not necessary an indication of EOL.

I just tried this online. It's not working for me. Not at that price. I think the extra 50% off isn't working for me, on Level Packs.

I've got $21.75 per Level Pack but I've got $6.37 on the Character Packs.

I need those Level Packs. My wife would argue I don't need more Cybermen and Daleks.

Just as a follow up, in store signs at my store say BOGO 50% on all Dimensions (except Starters) and 50% off on Fun Packs.

Not doubting that my TRU is lame and is signed wrong.

Not as good as 50% off, but Best Buy was knocking most Level Packs down to $19.99 online.  If you have GCU, that knocks an extra 20% off, making them a tolerable 15.99.  Nearly 50% off.

Went to the other nearby TRU looking for Harley Quinn/Joker pack and they did not have signs up and since it wasn't programmed to stack in the system I didn't bother asking about it, just hot-tailed it back to the first TRU and made it with about 3 mins to spare until closing.  Attached pic was round 2 after my earlier purchase this evening.

Did amazon raise its free shipping to $49?  Did I miss something?

Yes. They just did. Seems to be in response to the USPS price hike. Best Buy raised their limit too I believe.

Ouch that's a big jump, $35 to $49 and i thought it sucked when they raised it from $25 to $35 lol

LEGO SAH deals are in store as well. One week sale, it seems. Prices to return back to normal then.

They can say whatever they want. I am still not buying anything with only 20% discount. :)

Not every day I get to link back to a prediction that at least one BPer doubted.

Lawpepperdine (circa 1/16/16) - "in a somewhat unrelated point, I think the biggest impact this could have is bigger retails raising their free shipped limit."

I remember that someone posted couple weeks ago a deal if you register in Amazon business and spend $500 you get $100 but I don't see the link anymore. The promo was supposed to end in the first week of March. Any idea? thanks

I posted the link and used it.  I don't know if anyone else got it to work or not.  It was in the old Daily Deals thread, so I can't find my post.  You can sign up and see if they send you something.  I can't find the page on Amazon anymore.

Good fer you!

Does anyone know what's going on with the TRU 20% off City? I just checked their website and a bunch of stuff is no longer showing 20% off.

Yeah, the most recent USPS rate hike was pretty extreme.  Not only did rates go up by something like 10 x the rate of inflation, but the discount offered via commercial pricing for products like Priority Mail also went down.

The end result for a TRS seller on eBay is that Priority Mail shipping for a large exclusive just got about $5 more expensive, which is more like a 25-30% increase year over year.  Ship one of those per day, and you're looking at almost $2000 a year in lost profit.  Basically, the spread between what the buyer pays for Priority Mail postage and the seller is actually charged by eBay/USPS got almost eliminated.  That spread used to cover the shipping box and packing supplies, which are now out of pocket.

Good info. How does everyone think thischanges eBay auction listings?

B. flat rate shipping to cover postage plus supplies on more listings

B. actual shipping charges incorporated into more listings

C. higher listing prices but still free shipping on most listings

D. No change and sellers continue to erode away at their bottom line?

For me case by case it'll be C or D
