Some people don't like that the pilot's a dude while the flight attendant's female.  That does seem a bit odd for a Friends set.  Other than that, it's fine for a superduper pastel colored airport and jet.  I assume the current sale indicates that the set's on its way out, so if you want one...

not sure how many you sold during x-mas. but for me it was dead..

No doubt that CT is superior in every way. I sold 5-6 10682 during the holiday. (I'm a small timer). Didn't make a ton on them. Kind of regretted buying them honestly.

that makes two of us.. (looks like you had better record on 10682 than me..). i regret buying them and not touching this TRU stock. looks like they diverted them from tru canada.

I sold all of mine for $90 during the holidays.  In the past, I'd say you wouldn't have any trouble pulling in $90 for 10682 again around the same time.  With the way LEGO is flooding in brick boxes the past couple years, I won't speculate.  I'm passing, I had my fun.

I know this has been on sale for much less and at clearance, but a "deal" for an officially retired set for those looking to build of for a kid -- Lego City Coast Guard Patrol with the TRU sale today $67.99:

Limit 10.  They're desperate to get rid of them until they ship them from 10 different locations.

I found 2 Walgreens in my area with Rey's Speeder clearanced to $15.

My TRU had all Dimensions Level, Team and Character Packs 50% off Saturday only PLUS the buy 1 get 1 50% off sale going on this week stacks on top.  They had signs advertising the stack with the math printed out for you, so no sketchiness involved. Only problem is it wasn't ringing up correctly but Electronics Manager took care of it no problem.  Level Packs $11.99 each (TRU markup $31.99), Team Packs (TRU markup $25.99) $9.74 each and Character Packs (TRU markup $16.99 each) $6.37 each. Sorry for the late post as there's only a couple hours left in the sale, but I'm just leaving the store now. Hope at least somebody out there that's looking for some of the new releases as cheap as they've ever been can take advantage!

I just tried this online. It's not working for me. Not at that price. I think the extra 50% off isn't working for me, on Level Packs.

I've got $21.75 per Level Pack but I've got $6.37 on the Character Packs.

I need those Level Packs. My wife would argue I don't need more Cybermen and Daleks.

Local Lego store has different stuff on 20% off sale as SOH. For example, I spotted that 21302 Big Bang Theory was not on sale but 60095 Deep Sea Exploration and 60080 Spaceport were. This tells me that this particular sale is more likely an inventory flush and not necessary an indication of EOL.
