TB = tuberculosis in my mind.

I still hate all of the abbreviations on this site. They do not help anyone especially new people. (heck even me and I have been here about a year now)

Also another thing that 'cracks' me up is usually the abbreviation(s) is within a full worded sentence.

It use to be all #s on the site. At least abbreviations are a little easier to figure out w/o Google.

It used to be tuberculosis or Taco Bell in my mind, but in the LEGO world, I know it as Tower Bridge (10214):

Golf clap to all you people who go for these obvious scams just because paypal has your back! Thanks for contributing to the reason why paypal fees are becoming asinine! Bravo!!!

Lighten up. My paypal fees have not gone up. It was worth a try. So it might be a scam, I had money sitting in my account and I am giving it a try. If it is then I will get my money back. No harm to you or anyone else. But if it works then I win. And I dont read each of the thousands of posts on here that referred to it before, I dont have the time that some people obviously do.

guys keep a look out at Walmart First Order Snow Trooper set 75100 19.99.  Three there marked for $30 which I was going to buy regardless but they rang up 19.99

That is some excellent team player mentality there.

You obviously have no clue as to why paypal fees have gone up over the past few years. There are many factors that cause the fees to go up and one of them is the millions of dollars they have to reimburse foolish people that are attemping to buy these to good to be true scams. Where do you think that money comes from? The scammer? So no sir I will not lighten up sorry not sorry. You are dead wrong if you think its no harm to anyone.

This is a very naive point of view.

That is the beauty  of our nation, we all get to have our own point of view.     This being said, this note and the other should be removed as neither are focused on an actual deal.   Just weak commentary.

For every fool jumping on a scam because they think it is harmless, there are at least three more on the fence. I used to be one of those and very much appreciated the guidance of more experienced forum members here in helping me stay clear. Please leave the commentary as is.

You do realize that both of them are moderators right? Lol and Rockefeller is 100% correct, one of the main reasons why PayPal fees continue to go up is because they have to reimburse people who think the money fairy will always cover whatever scam they decide to get themselves into because they think why not they'll always cover you right? That money doesn't come from thin air it costs someone something and FYI it isn't the scammer.

Jeez. This thread currently reminds me of the Tumbler one from a couple weeks back.

Hope I won't need to call The Cleaner ( @Alpinemaps ). He's very efficient (like Mr Wolf).

Trust me, I can be ruthless when you run afoul of my OCD, and I'm sitting at a laptop.  I work for the government - it's in my job description to do anything but my real job, and goof off cleaning up threads.

Has anyone got this type of Sears SYW Coupon to work?  I have both this one and a $10 of $20 purchase.

It is a Sears coupon, loaded from Sears.com.  I start a Sears.com and navigate to LEGO from Sears only (which also apparently is entirely fulfilled by KMart).  Add in a couple items to get over the order threshold, making sure they aren't labeled as Hot Buys (Jurassic World or freshly released Star Wars, for the record).  I make sure no other coupons are applied to the order, but it still won't take it.

There are some quirky ones that just won't work.  I just move on to the next one.

In regards to gift cards, I've had trouble with several purchases from Raise for B&N cards.  One of them I purchased in December was frozen after I used part of the balance for a purchase in store.  Another one was completely wiped clean even though I tried to use it within 2 hours of making the purchase.  Raise customer service was very quick to refund my money, but I think I need to stay away from them since some of their gift card sources appear fraudulent.
